Isn't that the Spacebattles tank?

Also probably not. I thought steel-electric-clockwork would kinda combine into 'circutry/electronics' but I'm either I'm missing something or it doesn't work like that.

Electra-bow is still awesome.

Just searched bolo, got the closest one to a mark XXXIII that I could find. Still want to try and make one. Staff of metal control might work, with a lot of will rolls.

You'd still need to find a way to fire it. Sure, you could make it into a model of that thing, but making it actually work? Would probably require knowledge of all the words + runes and 5 people working on it, with 5 pool each.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

On that note, has anyone screwed around with the megacircle yet?

As soon as I get myself ready, maybe see what the fuck is in the rest of page 2, I plan on using circles a lot more.

I'll be doing a lot more science in about three stat points.  1 for pot so I can't crit fail, 1 for will so I don't have a negative, and 1 for channeling so I have three pool.  Three more (+1 total will, a fourth pool point) would be excellent, though.

Me, I'm hoping to get at least two extra points in channeling to be able to make really good marks, then two extra points in will so I can start mass-producing element control jewelry and wear it all like some kind of gaudy supervillain. Plus, you know, make new legs for myself. I already know the word for bracelet, so it shouldn't be too bad. Gotta build a base of power and find out what the rest of the Page 4 words are, you know.

If you're not in combat, do you have your max mana pool every turn?

For example if I have channelling 2, can I cast a two-word spell every turn as long as no one is trying to kill me?

I'm just interested in making a minion army of wind-up toys. Plus arming them with the most ridiculous things I can think of.

Who wouldn't want to march into battle carrying a whip made of wax that controls ink?

Personally, I had a neat idea for a way to theme myself, though it would run contrary to the lightning/energy theme I've run with for some time.

But yes, new legs are good.  Being living lightning, at least, is fairly tolerant of missing large sections of your body, but until I can control lightning I'm stuck this way.

Hm.  As far as I know, that would replace my current mark.  And since my current status contains the line "Dies instantly if reverts to human" I think that may be a bad idea.

((I have four pool and +1 to pot so I could try and help you if you wanted. Although there are two methods long and less dangerous or short and much more dangerous.))

So it was like a binary search, except the question is "Has the input been brutally murdered?", and it only ever returns True.

You know, I feel kind of annoyed for not thinking of this sooner. Just make a staff/rod/wand/whatever of what-your-body-is-made-of control. So a staff of lightning control would work, or for those still fleshy of flesh control. You'd need three to four channeling, depending on what you wish to control. Because some things don't make good items. A steel staff of lightning control would work though, in your case Toaster.

EDIT: If you want to do it the slow but sure way, make a steel staff, make a mark on it that grants the control of whatever item you wish. Too bad you can't make multiple marks though, else you could just have a staff of anything and everything control. There is a word for multiples of stuff, but it won't grant marks of different effects sadly. That I know of, though.

Yeah, that's the plan.  I fixed a jacked-up arm that way last round with a nice crystal-lightning control staff.
