Everyone on their own, as I did with Imperial Japan. I think a group consisting of Imperial Soldiers, Boxers, Bandits and Eight-Nation Soldiers would end badly.

Though I do imagine players will run across each other at various times, though what they do when they happen upon each other is up to them.

Whoops, just changed it. Thought there were only 11 stats, so we had to choose 5 (-) and 5 (+) and leave the last blank for no bonus. And I see where you would get South America and Europe. Lol.

Appearance: A blacked haired, brown eyed, short figure, slightly fat, adequately bearded(for a Sikh at any rate), and non-intimidating Indian man clothed in worn silk passed along what’s left of his family line.

Biography:  Swami is a trader by heart and by trade as well as a descendant of old Indian nobility long forgotten. Swami sought to make a quick profit from the turmoil in China, but found himself unable to leave due to a lack of any supplies for a return trip and no money left to pay for a trip home (due to the ship he arrived on being raided and burned down before he could sell much of his product) all he retains is a sword and crossbow from his personal effects Swami brought along with him.

Filipina - term for female filipino. Though I prefer it being filipino woman instead, or essentially, just filipino (unless the speaker is using it in Tagalog) - this is based on what I've heard the dictionaries have given to it... you know, our history and all. Guess TCM shortened it but I'm ok with that, though I've never heard any non-Filipino use that.

Appearance: A short man with an honest-looking face, has a well-trimmed goatee and perpetually well-groomed hair. Usually dresses in rather expensive-looking clothing and smells faintly of French perfume. Mostly has a look of satisfaction and joy on his face, almost as though the very act of being in the strange Orient is the adventure of his life.

Biography: Bogdan used to be all the rage in high society back in Moscow. A dandy beyond compare, he has spent most of his youth womanizing, drinking, hunting and practicing politics with his close circle of friends. That is, until the poor guy lost his meal ticket when he was, in his own words, "cheated out of the money that was rightfully his", by which he means his late uncle's not inconsiderable fortune, which the stingy old bastard chose to give to Bogdan's more practical-minded, level-headed and perhaps even stingier cousin! Left without money and running out of options fast, Bogdan decided to seek his fortune in the world, to go to the frontier and obtain easy profit, then return home a hero! Unfortunately, this landed him right in the middle of a rebellion in the savage and alien Orient, someplace called China. Hey, that's where all the chai comes from, right? Eh, he'll be fine!

More part of a group than leading it, or going solo. This is more of a big war game than a survival one.

There will be less, but it will still occur. Naval combat was a much bigger part in Japan since it's islands, as opposed to China which only has ocean to it's south and east. Although there are a lot of rivers and ships on them.
