I had no idea how the fight with the ants went, as I had to do chores during said time. However. I still feel like a badass space captain.

The ants passed two will saves against psionics in a row, both times with natural 20s. The ant battle went pretty well, but I must say that the half-dragon whale fight was my favorite part of the whole session.

Why?

Because ramming speed.

And as I said, the Ants were the perfect targets for that power, yet the Nat 20s threw that away.

Well, were they actual vermin, they would have been immune to mind effecting abilities.

Heh, I can't believe we forced wrex to have to break out the starship ramming rules from d20 future in order to help willfor resolve sub-vs-whale contact

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

But resolved it was, in a most awesome way. Namely, a dead half-dragon whale halfway into the control room of the sub. 456 damage, I think it was, if we count Oso's eldritch blast damage.

That session was, in the literal way, awesome.
Also, just to clarify, this session happened the day after the last session in-universe, right?

Comparison of my new pog with my old one:
Old...

And new.

Gods damn the Mabinogi Beauty Shop and its continuously bright ambient lighting. Morrighan damn you!
But the point is that his hair is greyer now and his eyes are now black instead of dark green, despite that his skin is straight-up SHINY in that picture.

Look what I've started. The RP is contagious~

Also, GM, I would like to request if the Trickery Devotion and Umbral Shroud feats (both from Complete Champion page 63) are available. The Errata for Trickery Devotion says that your duplicate doesn't get any of your magical gear, and I was wondering if I could use Mysteries to hold in [reserve] for Umbral Shroud.

Also want to know if Dark Lanterns (Tome of Magic page 156) are available for purchase. Yes, I would totally use this thing in combat, giving absolutely everyone a 20% miss chance against everyone else unless the attacker has blindsense or darkvision or something. You know, like what I've got.  :P

quick question: since there's no way I'm not receiving less than 14 exp, I'm leveling when we get our rewards. This means I need to choose a feat am I'm going with divine metamagic; however, its not clear if you need to have that metamagic feat alreafdy for this to apply or if you get that feat as part of this. Clarification?

Found the feat. Looks like you take the Divine Metamagic feat and that gives you a Divine Metamagic feat... So, take a Divine Metamagic feat.
