Reikhardt's ability grants bonuses to all the bardic abilities that grant bonuses to allies. (Or rather, as if you had an extra bard level.) At 4th level, your Mythic Exemplar levels stack with your bard levels for bardic music abilities.

What do you all think of the Blood Magus prestige class (complete arcane)? Sorry to derail here, but I had to fulfill my random question for the day quota, and was curious what you guys thought of it.

Personally, I like the flavor.

And anyways, please be warned of possible future rambling. It happens sometimes.

First four levels are okay, but break off after that. Not worth the lost CL.

It says Extraordinary abilities that grant bonuses to allies. All bardic music is either supernatural or spell-like. Meaning that the whole archetype advancement for Reikhardt(who in every other aspect is quite good) is useless for me.

As for Blood Magus, I think it's pretty good. 8/10 spellcasting progression and a shitload of new special abilities is pretty standard for prestige classes though. It's a pretty good class for evokers.

I don't understand why a single lost caster level is so bad...or even two.

Oh, damn, I could have sworn that those were extraordinary. I'm sure you could work it out with Willfor, though. With how much Reikhardt seems to be the 'bard/marshal' aspect, I can see that easily being an oversight on the original author's part.

Lost caster levels prevent you from advancing your highest spell level and spell capacity to be on par with your level. Being able to cast 7th level spells at level 13 is great, but having only 6th level spells (and fewer of them!) is a bit of a disadvantage. It's not catastrophic, but anything above 2 will actually start to limit your maximum spell level. (Sorcerers that lose 3 caster levels never gain 9th level spells.)

Level 4 skill points went into Truespeech (duh), various knowledge skills, and possibly Iaijutsu Focus. Is that skill allowed in this campaign, so long as I refrain from quickdraw shenanigans? Quickdrawing for every attack is a bit silly, but once per enemy (or encounter) doesn't seem terrible. After all, how often do I catch people flat-footed?  :P

Ok, downloading and reinstalling it didn't do squat, but opening the jar file directly worked. Now I just need the correct server address...

I have the same problem, tryrar. It comes from the launcher not being properly linked to the target jars. You can either manually set it again or just use the jar/batch files. It should work fine either way, though. (Obviously, since you played today.)

So. We need an army. Regardless of defeating the necromancer, we need an army to deal with the subsequently rampaging undead hordes. They aren't just going to kill over and die(again) when she does, or is otherwise defeated. So I need info so I know what I have to work with to equip and field our army.

We always have the possibility of a load-bearing boss. After all, a caster's spells are dispelled upon death, with just a few exceptions. So if we kill her, the undead she's raised personally will die as well. On the other hand, I'd rather not kill her.
