Guys, I'm going away for the rest of the week. It shouldn't influence much, but I thought I'd let you know in case I needed to do something.

Wropest turns towards Idem. "Release hell!? But it's hot down there! And it's full of demons made of fire and salt to melt my snow! We have to stop this lunatic before it's too late!"

Head down the stairs and search for Sus III.

Repeat until dead! Either one, ideally the snake.

I said HEAD to the dining room. I know I wasn't in it. That is why I said that.

Head to the soldiers on the wall and tell them what is happening. After that, find the armory and get a better spear for the upcoming battle.

This RTD is completely dead, and I feel the need to explain why.

The first thing is that I have a bad habit of thinking that something is going to be a good idea without thinking of the repercussions of my actions. In this case, it was setting an RTD in Spearbreakers. At first it seemed like a good idea (dwarves!), but I didn't think how being in Spearbreakers would affect the game at all.

When would it take place? Not everyone has read the entirety of the monstrous story, and might've wanted to jump in right away.

How would the events of the story affect the RTD? The entire point (well, a lot of it) of a community game is the story, and that would require time passing, something that RTDs have never been good at.

This is usually why I have a buffer between when I come up with an idea before I start writing it down.

The second thing is that I am all around terrible at keeping an interest in anything. I have been on an off in the main thread for several years now simply because I like Spearbreakers, but DF on it's own can't hold my interest long enough to keep me invested through the huge story to get caught up with everyone else. It's extremely rare for me to be interested in an idea for more than a few weeks.

The third and most disappointing reason is that I am lazy. I'm not going to bullshit you. I'm lazy, and it's one of the worst parts of me.

Really this RTD stood no chance, and if someone else wants to take it over, I'd be happy.

My first reaction was, "HOLY SHIT IT LIVES"

Then I read your post. Now I have a sad.

I unfortunately don't know anything about how a RTD works, or I might try taking it over just to do it - it doesn't seem like something that would suck up too much of your time... but I have absolutely zero experience here. I'm not the right choice for the job.

Anyway, how have you been? It's been a while.
