If you could "import" any one real country into DF...

...what would it be?
(because full-scale Earth is not possible yet - close enough, though)

Poland is the only option, of course.
I mean, look - The Mazurian Lake District IS a truly joyous sight.
Until carps come along.
Also, Tatra Mountains is a very much legit place for any Mountainhome, isn't it.

Roman culture, oc.
Id want tundra dwelling coastal vikings for peoples.
Id want to adventure in DFified Northern Africa, Around the mediteranian.

Mostly just geographically speaking.
But hey - it's not bad to mention the other options, right?
(but geographical one was the only one really making sense here...Besides the candy-related stuff)

I think Korea would be cool. There is some very nice geography and the political situation is interesting.

The Derweze/Darvaza region in Turkmenistan would be a good choice as a place to get a fortress running, if you want to play in an area in which someone mined adamantine , getting *spoiler* :
