Kurtulmak is the God of Postlessness.
I thought that was Jifodus. Kurtulmak posted once.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

I had this thread bookmarked already. It is... useful.

Kurtulmak posted "in person" 49 times. Actual profile can actually be referenced.

Mermaid Farming is reached from this bookmark and I've not heard the second reference.
EDIT: This? I don't see myself referencing that frequently, but I'll certainly remember it now.

God, that Kurtulmak guy was AMAZING. ALL HAIL him.

I don't thinkKNOW he's coming back, though. Thank KURTULMAK.

I am very upset. This isn't cool. I was very happy for a moment there, then it died.

You didn't know about that one! Geeze, nothing annoys Jackrabbit more than reminding him how he contributed to the pool of memes we have...

Speaking of, where is he? I haven't really seen him around lately.

That was painfully repeated from the start. I feel sorry for Jackrabbit.
I dunno where. Maybe he's been busy. Seems he's been online but not posting (though I can only judge by forum profile information). The people I considered distinctly "cool" here mostly dispersed and quieted down, or vanished. The mysteries of online communication.

DELETE FROM users WHERE post_count = 0 AND now() - last_logged_in > 365;

EDIT: not actual field or table names for SMF. In reality something like DELETE FROM smf_members WHERE last_login < "whatever" = 0; or something.

Or you know, use the SMF maintenance tool.

You are making the assumption that the database for the forum isn't so poorly structured that what would otherwise be a clean, simple SQL command becomes weeks of the forums being down.

I'm assuming that the forum uses SMF. Simple Machines Forum. A well known open-source forum engine.

A simple dump backup would prevent the scenario you're assuming.

Interesting... Are these forums known for crashing when ever a few threads are deleted?

I don't think so.

That's why you try it in a copy first.

Yes. They are. Every time it 504's, it's usually a thread being deleted.

Generally its only for large threads or multiple threads at once though.
