Ncommander's turn for the museum was moved a couple of places down on his request as well (he is busy). With a bit of luck his turn for the museum and retirement home will coincide again :-\

You guys have no idea how much joy it brings me to see this still going. : )

In fact, stick me at the end of the list. Life is slowly calming down a bit and I may have time in the future to actually play again. If my turn is up and I haven't logged in for a week or more you can skip me rather than waiting to see if I respond to a PM.

Carry on, adventurers!

If NCommander's having that much of a problem finding free time for DF, should he not have time when his next turn comes around I'll just give him a free shot at whatever slot he wants when he gets time.

Sappho, you've been added to the list. Great to see you back.

I awoke in a strange town. Didn't look familiar, that's for sure. Been a while since I'd seen houses with walls made from solid oak. And I'm pretty sure that when I went to sleep, I'd been in the jungles around Groznyj Grad.

Kneeling down, I activated my Codec and called the Major. He'd know what to do.

Well, might as well follow the Major's orders.

Entering the nearby house, I look at the nearest person. Doesn't look like any Russian I've ever met. Feeling safer, I asked him about the surrounding area, mildly surprising him as I stepped from the shadows.

Huh. Doesn't sound like anywhere even close to Russia.

I took the Major's advice and headed off southeast.

What the... Damned fish!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well. That was... anticlimactic. And with all that effort put into the introduction, too. Note to self: When entering a river, make sure there are no fish in it. I'll probably do my second adventurer in the next day or two.
Expect fewer updates for my new adventurer. I've kind of lost the will to take constant pictures for updates, so they'll mostly be just important things. Although he survived his first bogeyman encounter because a pack of dingos wandered by and engaged them for him.
Well, my second adventurer was doing decently, until I somehow managed to stumble into an area full of undead horses. That went extremely poorly. Save'll be up shortly, I didn't get a chance to make a fort.
I'll PM NCommander that it's his turn. MrWillsauce, you've been added to the list.
My life situation seems to stablized at the moment, so I'll see if I can play tomorrow. DL'ed the safe (and DF for Win32).
Fucking hell man, you aren't just getting the short end of the stick, you're being beaten with it.
Is your plan really to flush water into hell, and have the CARP marines fight them without threat of flame or disease?  If so, you are awesome, and one of the greatest DF military visionaries I've seen yet ( not that I've seen that many, or any, for that matter )
NCommander, it's been five days since you posted that you DLed the save. Have you made any progress? And if so, could we get an update?
Alright, we're going to skip NCommander's turn and move on. NCommander, I'll re-add you to the list wherever you want.
