Unorthodox means it's not common, but it accepted.
Misguided means that it's not accepted, but needn't be uncommon.

Atheism may not be so different amoung the allied races now, but wotkethic and deviant persons would be.  Id imagine humes being a bit more relaxed compared to industrious dwarves.

Dwarves wouldn't give a crap about atheism. It would be cool, though, to see the effects of tags like that change depending on what's happening inside an entity. Like if the king of a human nation is a worshipper of Litast, worship of that deity would become mandatory during his reign.
And even more awesome if the effects extended to the deity's attributes: "Litast is the god of murder" = murder becoming acceptable within that entity.

This means that a small number of your civilian dwarves own and carry personal weapons. If there was a siege, they can use the weapon vs the attackers without problem, but if a tantruming dwarf attacks, then fighting back gets you ostracized.
