Easily remedied. Play Dwarf Fortress, name a dwarf or twenty after the guy, send the hims into a training room [no armor]. Problem solved or something.

I can think of other ways to get revenge...but thanks for the idea. The [Name Redacted] Corps will rise! And quickly fall!

Nooooooooooooôooooooòooooøooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why did my tablet erase the turn?!?!?! THE. WHOLE. FUCKING. TURN.
why did i promise to have it done soon

Important stuff: ebbor and GUNINANRUNIN met via a boat of two misplaced youth; GUN got a turtle; his little girl got a screen on the metal thing to light up; some people got food surpluses, especially ebbor's fishers (65 fish!), raiders came to Slowpoke; Nerjin got a strange creature (a bit taller than a man at the shoulder, fuzzy feathers, long tail, sharp teeth...such a poetic description I typed...) and had a bunch of things moving towards his camp; Maya crafted a great adze; Maxinum's fishers caught a golden necklace instead of finding fish; Kamehameha made a weird shell axe-thing, and I swore not to use a tablet for this game again even though computer access is spotty ATM. If there was some action you really wanted to see the result of, let me know and I'll try to remember what it was. Otherwise, I'll just put up the changes to resources and such that I can recall tomorrow afternoon and we'll get Turn 3 started. Speaking of which, don't post turns until we're through with the roleplaying. Three different First Contacts are happening, and we should be able to follow them without worrying about wading through half a dozen turns...

my turn...

Did I find any feathers, shells and did I manage to make the 2 bows?

Ah, I remember that...Raith's day was a disappointment. Crissy and Robyn found nothing but sea urchins, the feather-gatherers found only dirty and damp feathers (and some on birds who flew away), and the bowyers just wasted materials.

How fared the hunting? Could you be a bit more specific about the creature and the apparent incoming invasion? How about the farms that I'm probably gonnna have to abandon...?

One advise, write your turns up on google docs/ drive. It autosaves everything on the cloud.

Good job I had spare materials then :) but my turn is just gonna be an exact copy of last time in that case anyway.

oh gogdamm is it this time again

Maya blinks at the sight of an unknown group, examining them. He then walks towards them confidently and stops two arm's lengths away from the closest person.

"Base isn't done yet. What are you doing here so soon?"

Wait, so, when can I post a turn? I don't role-play.

Gutted for you to lose the turn after all the work. Looks like it was a fun one too.

Which of the brothers fished the necklace?
The results of my scouting for a suitable location to set up camp.

I think everything else was resources and basket/clothes making

The hunting, um...I think it went pretty well. The creature...screw it, it's a young T. rex. The "invasion" sounds more like a raid, perhaps, but not of humans. The first farm has 65 units of crops ready in 10 days, the second has been prepared, and for the future only one person is needed to actually sow a garden.

One advise, write your turns up on google docs/ drive. It autosaves everything on the cloud.
Thanks, I'll figure out how to use it.

Thankfully, you haven't met anyone yet.

Tell me about it...everyone rolled events, a couple rolled on the "Roll Twice..."

It was tangled in some seaweed they hauled in together, and the scouts found a nice, sandy, flat area near a cliff overlooking the ocean.

The weaving worked.

Oh, and two notable rules changes: I will now be roiling on the Hunting tables, meaning that hunting should be more bountiful and WILL be more dangerous and interesting. Also, taming animals is an activity; because I failed to remember to add it, you can each give one member of your tribe Novice in animal taming or any other skill.

"What are you talking about?" Now that Maya looks at them, they don't look or sound much like any people he's seen or heard. "We are here to take your food and weapons and tools. And any stone or other valuables you have. Let us search your "base" and we'll let you live."

Animal taming goes to Raith.

If I plucked feathers from my finch would they grow back? and if so how many turns would it take?

Yes, but I hadn't thought about feather regrowth times...

A week or two?
Things grow fast here so does not need to be an overly complex system for it.
