Funny/ Most Awesome Books you have seen in legends mode
« on: November 17, 2012, 08:40:32 pm »

I'm going to have to say this one floored me:
"Extinction for Everyone"
A legendary blue peafowl leather-bound book....
Basically its a 132 page guide by this dwarven necromancer.
The weird thing is that it's not a weird manifesto or whatnot. Its just about "the secrets of life and death" Which I assume is meaning its a guide to necromancy.
Also, "The writing is fairly cheerful and it has a touch of humor"

Water Buffalo Hoof: Natural or Supernatural? was a legendary cow leather bound book. Water Buffalo Hoof: Natural or Supernatural?, authored by Usmik Taxwet. It concerns the water-buffalo hoof bound book A Humble Offering to Bereavement. The writing occasionally changes topic abruptly and it descends into rants in some places.

A necromancer wrote a book about his wife, and called it "The Human: My Only Mistake"

By far the most funny was 16 pages long book called "Nasty storage" - a story about how the author, some necromancer, was putting another of his books called "Tower when it counts" into a bookshelf. The writing, allegedly, was completely serious.

The entire content consists of senseless murder, a pile of faceless naked women and zero regard for human life in general, all in the service of the protagonist's base impulses. It is clearly a cry for help from a neglected, self absorbed and disempowered juvenile badly in need of affectionate guidance. What a sad, sad display.

I now totaly want to do a fort in which dwarves take this "A modest proposal" esqu book at face value, and create the biggest baby-killing magmaing fort built on a foundation of lies ever.
