The people in charge of the swiss army are biggest hypocrites in history.

Because of a long history of neutrality, the army does not take part in armed conflicts in other countries, but takes part in peacekeeping missions around the world.

So effectively the swiss army does not fight in conflicts in other countries.
It goes to other countries and shoots people to keep the peace......

I'm just wondering what skills will come from it since the GM said he will pick skills from professions so I'm assuming he'll pick some that are useful for us and I don't see many uses early game for being good at making a website....

As an American, so not true. Even in areas without strict gun control laws (including some large cities...*cough* Chicago */cough*), plenty of people ignore their 2nd Amendment Rights. It depends on location, location, location.
