Any weapon works. An assault rifle would be able to hit more people in a single round, but it would also chew through ammo pretty fast, so it balances out.

Yeah, you can find some in shops because they're gapped in the same way that people are. They're more expensive than arrows though, because most Vorian natives can't make them. Also you can try to make your own if you find some material that you think would work well.
