Jan sat on the roof of the building across the street from the apartment. They had food, and it was a decently large group. He looked a bit closer, getting slightly closer to the lip at the edge of the roof.

Suddenly, Jan slipped slightly, rustling the gravel-covered roof as he caught himself and sending a few rocks all the way down to the street level, cracking as they landed.

Cursing softly, Jan climbed back down the building, quickly crossing the street. He hadn't had a meal today, and from what little he could see, they had electricity. He figured there was only one way to get some, then. Sighing, he entered the apartment building, his rifle at the ready.

((No, he's not going to walk in shooting. It's precaution against mutants.))

Having walked up the stairs to the right floor, Jan carefully made his way down the short hallway. He was halfway down the hallway when he stopped, having heard talking. Proceeding even slower, Jan started to walk closer, but then the floor creaked. He froze.

Jan froze, looking at the pistol pointed at him. Slowly raising his hands in the air, he tried to gather his thoughts. "Jan. I figured you guys had food. Don't shoot."
