"Thanks. I've got my rifle, but it'll need maintenance soon. And I've got some other MREs. And then there's my pistol, and a small sample of my blood. Not sure why, but the government had us all take blood tests. Maybe they were checking for mutation indicators. Too late now, I suppose..."

Just my post, over by that office building that way. We pretty much were out of supplies. We were just the a small part of the National Guard, you know? Some bastards killed my friends. They killed the one who had this duster, but the woman got to me. But then everything went fuzzy. When I woke up, she was dead, I had blood on me, and her throat was all eaten up. That was about 20 minutes ago, that I woke up.
