If Dwarf Fortress were to have another theme song, what do you think it would be? Personally, I think Drunken Lullabies by Flogging Mollies would be perfect, at least for Dwarf mode.

Not a song per se, but I suppose it's pretty dwarfy at least.
Those who played Awesomenauts recently should know that this is Skolldir's theme.

Because Norwegian (iirc) has a dwarven feel to it...
(but so does German)

The Mountainhome Horn salute the seven brave dwarves leaving.
They endure a long, unknown trip, and finally get in sight of their new mountainrange
They start to carve a new fort.
A carp!
A rhesus macaque stole our roast, speed up those farms!
Build a still, recover that dwarf and kill the killerkamel!
Do not play with the badgers, instead move those drinks inside.
Bees!
Caverns Breached, fungus for everyone!
Start the rock mugs production and cook those plump helmets
An ambush!  seal the Fort!
Ore, FLUX! INDUSTRY!
Send out the militia and repel that ambush!
We're swimming in gold, our soldiers are shiny, drunk terminator, our glory is only matched by our greed!
Let's pierce the heavens hell itself!
OHGOD!
The militia, they're all dead! Send in the reserve!
