Almost done with the game. Keep up the good work. Oh yeah, did you take the opportunity to screw over the Druuge one last time? You can probably nab one more egg case from the Mycon, refit your ship with nothing but empty Hi-Eff fuel tanks, and trade an egg case for fuel. Crash their economy before you take on the Sa-Matra. It may take awhile to empty up to 1000+ fuel (a good 20,000+ RU's worth (like hauling 800 Exotic minerals in one go)); but their reaction is well worth it; not to mention punishing them properly for the crap they've done throughout the game's canon.

Huh. I didn't know that. Ah well, way too late now I suppose.

Also, two more videos. We are so firmly in the endgame I can practically taste the Sa-Matra...

Also, completely unrelated to the above statement, how many historical items does Greenish have? Less then eight, I hope.
Reading through my notes, I counted:

9 History pieces

FFFFFFFFFF-

Hopefully the rainbow worlds are in a line or something, else I'm going to have to make a bonus video. Eh, both options are acceptable. And yes, I have played some more. However would you guess that?

I'm a bit surprised you didn't raid the Mycon space while they were distracted similarly to the Thraddash. There were more than 1 world that was treated like a homeworld. Like the Thraddash, why didn't you investigate them? There could be some good candy on the surface (more eggs, tons of radioactives, maybe another quest item...).

Are you talking about Beta Brahe? Because I kinda realized that as I was recording the commentary... Whoops.

Also: I have no clue how I found this. It contains Zelnick, Talana and Zex singing some kind of Mario-themed song. Also fanservice, if you're into that kind of thing. It amuses me.

Hah, yeah, I've seen that before. Zeria really loves Star Control 2. I love her Stamp on the Ground vid too, with all the SC2/UQM characters in it. (catchy song too)

Huh, that's a pretty neat video t-

THE PROCESS IS INCOMPLETE

*Ahem*

Yeah. Got the sun device from the Mycon, met up with the Syreen one last time, and freed the Chmmr. Now that all the plot threads are finished, the only thing left to do is find the Sa-Matra and end things. Well, it's either that or a victory lap to see how everybody is doing, but I could always do that as a bonus video or something (along with the rest of the history stuff).

So, anything I should know before tackling the Precursor Battle Platform? Or am I just going into it blind for your own amusement? The latter rather then the former, I imagine.

Looking forward to the last episode!

Also, I'd go with crew over fuel. I mean, it's not like you're taking the ship back home, right? Better to be sure all your ships are fully crewed when you arrive.

And the Supox Blade sucks. :P Avatar is awesome.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Answer? Fireballs of PAIN. Horrible burny pain.

And yes, I have done it! The Sa-Matra is destroyed! The Ur-Quan Masters are defeated! Peace has returned to the galaxy at large!

Now what?

Yes, Star Control 3. I bet you subscribed just for it, didn't you?

Debating whether to make a new thread or continue on with this one. Video/recording seems to work fine, but either way I'm going to have to find some pictures for the races/ships... I'll figure things out.

I actually was thinking of 'Fireballs of DOOM!', but PAIN also works :)

And you should probably make a new thread for it. Star Control 3 is its own thing, really.

Alright. Done. No videos to show off yet, but I'll see what I can do about that.

Wanna find out where all of the rainbow worlds are? Hunt them down for the hell of it?

EDIT:
Post-combat tip:
After neutralizing the Sa-Matra's defense grid, you can destroy the fireballs and bouncing boogers and they will not come back, permitting a safe passage for the Vindicator.

Now you tell me...

And I wouldn't mind learning where the rainbow worlds are, even though I don't exactly feel like hunting them down right now. Still would be nice to know though.
