And if you ever get REALLY stuck, I will give you one semi-useless hint:
The Thraddash know where it is, and are willing to tell you under the right circumstances.

I do not actually remember what those circumstances are.

But seriously when you get bored of the most frustrating "puzzle" in the game, let us know. I was never able to see the "snake eating an elephant" thing, although you WILL need the not-in-game map to even figure it out that way, and I honestly I think there is nothing lost in just looking the coordinates up in this case.

Well the good news is that I solved the puzzle. The bad news is that in my rush for awesome gameplay, Hypercam seems to have devoured a couple videos. I need to be careful and pay more attention while recording. Bah. I'll see what I can do, but I might just summarize the lost video in my commentary. I figure that most of you would know what I did pretty quickly anyways.

Bumping this thread to announce that the UQM HD Alpha has ben released yesterday, adn I'll I can say is:

It. Looks. Pretty.

Download Link:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/urquanmastershd/

Caution: Big game now, since it's all HD now. About 533.24MB to be exact (and that's just the download of the ZIP file alone).

EDIT:
It has a few graphical bugs here and there; but like stated before, it's an early release so it can line up with the timeline of decade-releases. It'll be patched up over time.

Wow. That is horribly, eye-gougingly pretty. Shame that I'll probably never play it though. You know, issues with save compatibility, and I'm not sure if I'll remember this if/when I decide to replay SC2... Still, if anybody wants to post some screenshots for us to appreciate, well, I won't stop you.

Also, two whole new videos! Huzzah! Yeah, I'm going to start updating again. However it'll be a while to go through all of the videos in the backlog, which sucks because I am horribly excited about continuing the game. Still, things can't be rushed...

Decided to mix things up by putting three new videos. Enjoy!

...

Assuming that anybody is still watching these things, of course.

The Shofixti, though rapid breeders, still need a fair bit of time to multiply; I'd check back in a few months. Just as well, I don't think the Yehat will acknowledge their return until they can see one of their ships. As for the Mycon situation, I say explore a bit more, or see if there are any other races that can help out nearby.

I finally get my hands on the Shofixti in the second up-coming video (which I still have to re-record...), so that isn't a problem. Unless the Supox are hanging out nearby (I checked the Super Melee list; they're the only ones left), then no friendly alien races are going to be helping with the Mycon problem. Well, the Yehat might help if they ever join us. Which is a shame because I really want the Syreen to help us against the Spathi. Bah.

EDIT: Gah! I'm half-way through the time limit, aren't I? I should start picking up the pace.

Wait, you haven't got the Syreen helping you?

Also, I find it relatively impressive you haven't managed to find the supox while still finding... another race.

Well... we need to find out what happened to their homeworld before they will help us, right? Unless I missed something, of course. And I'm 95% sure that their homeworld is on Beta Brahe, but we can't find that out until we distract the Mycon, probably once we get the Yehat on our side.

Also, I find it relatively impressive you haven't managed to find the supox while still finding... another race.

Thanks... I guess.

Hmm... Another race... Are you talking about the Arilou? The Chenjesu did say that they met three (two?) other alien races, so if the Supox were in that area it would make sense. I doubt they're by the Slylandro, otherwise those gasbags wouldn't be so isolated. The Thraddash also seem unlikely, seeing as the Ur-Quan swept through that area long before.

Hmm...

I'm also surprised you didn't run into them while doing the maiden quest.

I haven't watched the vids in a while (been short on time), but have you run into the Utwig yet? The super-awesome ships from space battle?

I thought the Syreen Homeworld was the only other system in Mycon territory that wasn't guarded like a homeworld (It's a shattered world, just like any other Mycon-owned world)? Show the egg fragment to the Syreen before trading it in, and maybe they'll help.

I have... no clue anymore. Bah. Either they're by the Thraddash or (against all odds), near the VUX. Hopefully it's... Actually, I could care less either way. We have to visit the Thraddash anyways, and the VUX are mincemeat to the Vindicator, so who cares about them?

Nope, but I know exactly where they are thanks to Greenish, so it'll be easy to track them down. I should probably talk to them first before getting the Aqua Helix/Rosy Sphere to repair their Ultron anyways. It's on my ever-growing list of things to do.

Oh. Much better then. Looks like I have another excuse to annoy the Mycon. I assume hope that showing them the egg will throw them into a righteous rage so that they'll join us, or at the very least give us a couple Penetrators to use against the Spathi. My fingers are crossed...

Hey, speaking of lists, the next three videos are up, and we're officially through the backlog of videos! Huzzah!

So... any suggestions about what to do next? We could visit the Umgah to see them enslaved by how they're doing with the Dynarri, see the Utwig/Druuge, look around for that egg fragment for the Syreen, or head over to the Thraddash for that Aqua Helix. Or we could completely dick-off completely and go exploring. Whatever works, I guess. (Is there anything I'm missing?)

So, ideas? I'm leaning towards the Umgah myself. Never thought I'd type that.

Pretty much any and all of those options are valid. Yep.

And then, they will be weaponized. Like everything in this game, from kittens to babies, everything is a potential device of murder.
So if baseless speculation is all we have, we might as well treat it like fact.

I visited the Umgah and got myself a new friend. D'aww...

Anyways, I'll be heading towards the Utwig next, and maybe working on repairing that Ultron of theirs. At the very least it's a more definite goal that 'Wander around Mycon planets for an eggshell'.
