You can choose, though I will take some liberties. For example, in exchange for your multibuilding start I will assume that you landed in a outpost that was being build by the terraformers.

The north most mountain at the end of the river in the bottom left corner looks like a good sight for my nation to begin.

Ok  I'll take the most northern island, the one with a lake inland and a river leading from it out to the sea on the west side of the map, that is 4 different colors.
If possible can I have my town built just east of the lake spread across both sides of the river with a wall encompassing the whole town?

You can't. I believe I said so before (I should have).

You might have some support and supply runs from those left at the ship though.

Also, I didn't notice so many people were starting with thousands of dudes. Can we bump all my troops up to hardened level and take enough guns for everybody?

Just as a general note, those things are major rivers. There are lots of smaller ones that aren't noted.

Edit: Also, please give me a hint for something to represent your faction with on the map. I should be able to manage some simple pixel stuff.

There were some bad rolls, but I don't think it'll do much lasting damage.

The formatting of the turn is quite bad, but I'm not going to fix that right now. (very slow connection)
