I removed 1/3 of my population.
1000 soldiers.
And reduced the infrastructure a bit.
I still have all the buildings and stuff but I have less of them now.

But why make a person with larger numbers weaker?
Anybody can choose to have large numbers if they want to they just decided not to.
Keep the setting in mind. You're landing on an alien planet after the ship was heavily damaged. Besides, game balance.

At the moment, you outgun the militaries of all players put together, have a stronger industrial base than all of them, you have more food, more rations, scientific equipment better than most factions. Even if all players turned their full force against you, it's unlikely they'd be able to defeat you.

Edited in some genetic advantages and turned my marines in identical clones

Remember my attempt at Feudalism, mesor? There were people who tried to have everything and one saner player who wasn't happy about it:-)

Name: Administrator  Adara Deque
Name faction: The Vanguard
Short description: Enigmatic group of specialists hoping to develop a better society and with an ultimate goal of sending ships back to Earth and move the human population to a new home system.
History: The Vanguard was established at the first mentioning of a colony ship on the global channels. A grass-roots organisation at heart, the Vanguard acquired funding and members from nations and organisations all over the globe, even during the worst times. They are led by unquestionably led by Adara Deque not through intrigue or force of arms, but merely by vote.
Description of assets:
     -Population 6500
     -Wealth: 400
-Resources: (1000 versatile scientists, 3000 labourers, 1500 skilled workers 500 soldiers, 500 technicians, GM-adjusted seeds, solar panels, extensive digging equipment, pre-fab structures, slightly outdated weaponry.
     -Tech:
     -Satellite Array
     -Extensive Genetic Manipulation Technologies
-Starting location: In between flowing rivers on the grasslands.
Everything appears to be fine.

Name: What name goes here?
Faction Name: Heterodyne Technology and Innovation
Short Description: The corporation that made the Unity and other projects.
History: In 2063, HT's CEO, billionaire Phil Heterodyne, sold most of his assets to form a scientific corporation. Within a year, he had a band of solar panels circling the equator of the moon and a few spacecraft. Within a decade, HT was a household name and built the best spacecraft in the solar system. He built the Unity when it was commissioned, and included room for himself and his family.
Assets: 5,000 employees and dependents (2,500 men, 2000 women, 500 children); $100,000 or so; a large number (4,000) of variously skilled technicians and such; various high-tech stuff including a generator, a supercomputer, laboratories and workshops, robots, and a cargo shuttle; what techs could I choose?
Starting Location: Um...On the surface, probably? Maybe the ship?

Things seem fine, I'd need to convert some units. (Like cash to abstract wealth figures), but everything's fine. Just your techs. (Can't help you with that, there's no tech tree. Just choose some things you want to have an advantage in).

Name: Engineer first class Origami..
Faction name: The followers of the Machine god.
Short description: Believe that technology is holy, and that there is a god in the machine.
History: Formed from the engineers and technicians of the Unity, they started to believe that the ship was making conscious decisions, and have ever since done their best to drive forward technology and science to please the machine god, in order to one day be elevated and become the soul of a machine, a ghost in the machine, so to speak.

Assets: 600 engineers, 500 technicians; they eschew personal wealth in favour of forwarding the cause of the machine god; The engineering schematics for every piece of equipment loaded into the ships computer, computers of various capabilities, the ships fabricator(if the ship had one), every fan, microwave, and toaster oven that wasn't bolted down, a single poppy, with viable seeds.

As for tech, construction of self contained environments in constructions (space, underwater, underground, hostile planets), advanced 4th gen nuclear weapons (if it isn't too much to ask (and by fourth gen I mean things like nuclear perpetrators, bunker busters, shaped nuclear charges, enhanced radiation... stuff like that), if it is I would request the ability to make miniaturized fusion reactors.)
Starting area: If the ship has a factory, but it can't move, occupy that, If any industrial areas exist on planet, take the most developed one, otherwise, stake a claim to some mountains with lots of metal.

I predict a terraforming station with a deadly robot made of nanobots, that is covered in blades and spikes.

4th gen nuclear weaponry is fine. You just won't be able to mass manufacture them from the beginning. I'm missing wealth though, which I expect to be low, as your members seem to be almost devoted, possesing few riches.

Name: Narsean Argonian
Name faction: House Argonian
Short description: House Argonian, former High House
History: House Argonian was once one of the High Houses of the Noble Houses, revered by many, and hated by many they were great thinkers and scientists aiming to improve the world they lived in for all. At least that was their starting goal, towards the end century of Earth when the world began to collapse and war was waged for drops of oil, and scraps of metal House Argonian became peacekeepers & enforcers. Their bright minds turned to other avenues of research, and they turned their attention to space hoping it a place more peaceful then their home.

Hundreds of space stations were built, and advances made as Argonian moved into the void beyond Earth, circling above they formed a small society hoping to survive whatever true collapse awaited. But soon enough they found themselves wrong and the noble houses began to wage war among themselves, House Argonian with its armies of drone, and stations in the safety of space was the first to fall, and it fell to treachery. Now driven from their old home in void near Earth they seek a new place to call home ...

Description of assets:
     - 10.000 People of the House Argonian
     -Wealth: 3.000
-Resources: 137 Skirmisher Drones, Pre-fab Hydroponics Facility, Digging Equipment (100 People), Food Stockpile, Cashe of Out-dated weaponry, Small Space Station schematics, Drone Schematics, and other stuffs usually needed by such a large pop.
-Drone Technology, Non-conventional Building (Used to building Underground, and in Space)
-Starting Location: Spaceport if possible, otherwise on the surface preferably on the edge of a mountain range.

Things appear fine. You have a rather strong military. (Drones are quite potent) Being Hightech will be both an advantage and a disadvantage as high efficiency is put above durability (Not always having the right spare parts).

Assuming Centauri

Name: Colonel Mark Dixon
Name faction: Lawmakers
Short description: They are leftover of corrupted supposedly neutral ship security forces formed from marines. When full war has broke, they started to rob, kill and enslave under hypocritical name "Lawmakers" .After other factions united against them they were forced to run away in the pods, taking little resources but weapons and slaves, with little hope to survive without any tools....

Description of assets:
-Population 1300  (250 male marines, 50 female marines, 100 male slaves (mostly ones that know something useful) 800 female slaves, 100 children )
     -Wealth:1000
-Resources: 200 personal scale laser guns, 100 suits of personal powered battle armor, 300 suits of light battle armor, 200 assault rifles, , 1500 magazines for assault rifles, 20 rocket launchers, 10 rockets, 50 units of explosives, 5 day worth food supplies, various first aid med supplies, 20KWh universal diesel generator. (It called diesel, but in fact it works perfectly on any burning liquid, It's designed to recharge laser guns and other military equipment), 300 liters of strong booze
Tech 1: Battle tactics
Tech 2: Survival
-Starting location: Let GM decide

As said before, fairly weak, but I think you'll be able to handle yourself.  Besides, having a large Modified population will probably aid you.

Name: Admiral Mask
Name faction: Neptune's Hand
Short description: Brutal and Chaotic Buccaneers. On earth they controlled an extensive piracy and drug empire and all but dominated coastal regions throughout the 3rd world. They have no uniform, prefering instead to dress up as Native Americans, Vikings, Classic Pirates, Mongols, or in any other intimidating costume they can find or make.

History: The story of the origins of Neptune's Hand is convoluted and blurred. Some say they started as animal rights activists who grew bored of sparring with whaling ships and turned to piracy. Other's say their leader was a Mafia Don from Sicily, mutilated and humiliated in a failed hit, who took to robbing the shipments of those who wronged him. Others still claim they started as Islamisit Movement and eventually abandoned their ideals for the sheer joy of causing chaos and pain.

Their leader Admiral Mask is a man truly feared. His face is always concealed by one of his many fancy masks, many of which sport intimidating special effects such as smoke or flame. Before the Unity Left he was feared more than the devil himself in some of the poor costal regions of the world.

Once the Unity was in flight rumors started to spread that the Hand had infiltrated the ship, living in deep in the infrastructure and engine rooms, far from the habitation decks, coming up only to raid briefly before vanishing once more. Most dismissed these rumors as folk tales, but those working security or maintenance would swear them to be true.

The believers were proven right at the height of the internal war for the colony pods, when the Hand emerged from the woodwork en-mass, taking everyone by shock and carving a blood path to their pod of choice, which they loaded with drug seeds from earth and boats assembled from the Unity's inner workings (perhaps causing the malfunctions that crippled the ship in the first place).

It would seem unlikely that Admiral Mask would have lived long enough to survive the trip, or indeed would have even been willing to leave his empire on earth; but somebody just as mysterious and brutal seems to have inherited the man's name and rank.

Description of assets:
-Population: 100 Hardened Raiders, 200 Green Raiders, 100 Skilled Workers, 250 Unskilled Workers, 120 Young Children
     -Wealth: (2300)
     -Resources:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
     -2 techs of choice
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
-Starting Location: Along a coast, where a Mediterranean climate meets the desert.
Seems fine. Low population, but a good military. Seems fine. ((I'm just trying to figure out how you guys got a destroyer from the engine room towards the Colony drop pods.))

As for a bit weak, I don't care, those games are for funny stories not for beating enemies, and my mutants that enslaved some women and will try to survive is a funny story even if everyone die horribly

Ok I've drastically cut my food production, cut 1000 more soldiers, and removed 4/5 of my food rations.

So I have a fairly large well equipped military and an organized infrastructure but I'll need to bring in food from somebody else or my population will end up starving and rebelling against me.

That a bit better?

The military is staying high though since my faction is built around being a professional military force.

Okay then, give us $10.  Maybe we can pay off whoever else is on the ship to help us achieve enlightenment.

That already happened. The ship is quite litteraly falling apart. The population pressure and sustained damage is just too much.

Also, currently working on the map. I got past plate mechanics so I'm know plotting out the weather patterns (crudely)  and then adding the terraforming

Plate tectonics and weather patterns? How are you making the map and there can I get it?

It's doable. Quite a lot of infrastructure, and a lot of weaponry + ammunition.

Plate tectonics and weather patterns? How are you making the map and there can I get it?
By hand and using MS paint. Should be able to get that everywhere.

((I got a draft up))

I know :).

How about this.
If I go Hitler and declare war on the world you can have a giant alien worm eat my city whole :P.

The excess in weapons and ammo is intentional, I'll use it as a trade recourse as well as the light battle armor.
Hell I might even sell some of my tanks and choppers once I know how many of them I can build and how long it takes.

I'll start at the mouth of that river on the eastern half of the continent that spreads across both sides of the map.

I can't help but think that that big vertical spot with continuously no ocean for the whole longitude would have been a better dividing point.
