Once during a goblin siege I saw a rabbit kill one of the invaders by tearing his throat out.

Children you rescue shouldn't behave like rabid beasts.  I guess your regular companions shouldn't act like rabid beasts either.
I think that's a little more impossible than I'm likely to have time for.

Compounded with the fact that badgers are bloodthirsty psychos, they're usually attacking dwarves. Essentially, imagine taking on a badger just almost as big as you.

Almost as big as me? Thats peanuts for badgers, the are known for killing motherf*cking lions.

My preferred method is to wait until their back is turned, then impale them with a pike held by someone else.
Preferrably from a distance.

That's actually pretty accurate. Hippies kill more people than any other African mammal.
...Autocorrect changed hippoes to hippies. Screw it, it stays.

The mere fact that they're one animal that even Steve Irwin steered clear of is about a good a testament to how dangerous the hippo is as any.

Well, except for what their skulls look like. Nothing compares to that when it comes to showing how utterly terrifying a hippo is.

...You know that he would have kept his feral status despite all of your dwarves believing it to be tame (assuming that bug is still in), because it already had tasted dwarf blood?

But of course you knew. A rabid racoon guarding your back entrance from invaders and dwarves alike is bound to be FUN.

Hippoes are very dangerous if you provoke them, they are completely harmless if you let them be. Really anything with hooves can easily destroy you in adventure mode though, just needs a bit of luck if you are highly skilled and a bit of less luck if you arent wearing a helmet.

I am surprised by the deadliness of pandas.

It knows that Hippies are evil to the bone.
Cartman was right.

I had a raven that "smacked" a baby in the head. I bet the mother used the child as a makeshift club.

I am trying to make chickens lay bees as eggs. So far it only produces a single "Tame Small Creature" when a hen lays bees.
Honestly at the time, I didn't see what could go wrong with crowding 80 military Dwarves into a small room with a necromancer for the purpose of making bacon.
