How do I train my character?
« on: November 15, 2012, 04:51:55 am »

What's the best way to train striking/kicking? So far I've just rendered my enemies paralyzed, and stood over them punching and kicking them in their fingers.

Be warned that once your enemy goes unconscious you stop gaining experience for any attacks.

This needs verification, but is true to the best of my knowledge.

I don't think losing guts actually kills you, you just throw up and pass out and bleed to death.
This was supposed to be a cool upgrade. All I got was more hostile zombies.

Gouge out an enemy's eyes so they can't see you, sneak then repeatedly hit them in the lower body.  They puke a lot but are unlikely to die as opposed to hitting the upper body which could damage lungs and cause suffocation.

Find a giant sponge. They are the ultimate sparring partners since they are unkillable (they only pass out sometimes) but can't really hurt you. Fighting them will train all combat related skills plus swimming and also raise attributes. After a few days of fighting you can easily get lots of skills to legendary and several attributes up to "superdwarven".

A good way is to get a husk or a zombie and just attack anywhere but the head.
If you don't want to go through all that, just cheat engine your skills/edit the raws so that your creature that you play as will have legendary skills.
If you play as something that doesn't have [INTELLIGENT] or [CAN_LEARN] tag you can either add it to the creature or mod the skills in the raw files.

I like to train my skills by hunting. So biting rabbits, kicking rabbits, throwing rabbit corpses at rabbits and chopping rabbits.
