"Dobre, Dobre..." Rags said, tapping her lower lip in thought. "Ah, yes. Good idea; maybe she can give us some further insights into how the Judetal Sugar work before we let her go. But... let's not let Doug interrogate her. We don't need her telling the JS what sort of things he does to get people to talk - especially to one of their own." She didn't exactly disapprove of the man's methods, since in her opinion the majority of the mutants they captured were gang scum anyway, but this was a situation where it would be best to find something else to occupy his time while someone with a soft touch did the questioning.

She was pleased that Lucian was taking an interest in Carlos's various research projects, and touched his upper arm briefly in a gesture of comradeship. "I wish you luck with that Shellder. If something goes wrong - and it might; even with my experience at it I still make mistakes. Sometimes it feels like half of it is luck - I have one too, so we'll have that to fall back on. And speaking of the shipping containers, I know where we can get a steel-type mutant. A relative of Kull's, down in the Septicslums. I would have went after him today, but... well, I do feel better, but a hit to the head might make this minor concussion a major one, and a hit to the torso might break the fractured rib." She shrugged.

"I'll get him once I've recovered, though," she added in a tone that all but said 'let me do it, I have +3 to Brawling checks :P.' "I shouldn't have much trouble catching him by surprise, pinning him down, and sedating him. Then we can really get to work on finishing those shipping containers."

"I agree with that, Doug's methods... aren't exactly good for relations, even if they are effective," Lucian says, but pauses when she mentions getting Kull's relative "Don't we have a Kull in a cell now?" he asks with a thoughtful expression, "Locke Kull, if I remember right, the magneton mutant that was donated by the PCNA."

Susan shook her head and rubbed at her temple sheepishly. "You're right, we do. I must have gotten racked harder than I thought. I was under the impression Magneton was only Electric. (Because I'm only completely familiar with Gen 1, when they were. >.> Also, I don't even wanna know what a Magneton mutant looks like. :P) I suppose I could skip grabbing the other Kull for now, then, although if the one we had previously is any indication he's probably bad news for the people he lives with."

"For that matter, we still have the corpse of the first Kull, now that I think of it. I could probably dissect that and learn what we need from it without even bothering with Locke for now." She laughed quietly. "I must have needed a day off more than I realized; I forgot a lot of obvious things I could and should be doing. Thanks for reminding me, though, Lucian."

(Also if that scan on Afina works, I may ask Tar to scan a few of my pokemon to complete the Applied Life-Force Theory. ^^^)

While Stormy had little training in the formal languages, puzzling out the strange scraps of text they had gathered, for others to derive from them what they would was more a puzzle than an intellectual exercise-her spirit and charisma made her good at such things.

She planned to seal herself in her room with a pot of coffee brewing in the kitchen and her favorite songs on the Cane City radio station (BPOK19, the BLIZZ, Home of Port Canes best progressive Rock) intent on pulling an all nighter if need be...

But why not some fun first? It sounded like some were taking a break at the beach, what could be better?

1. Hit the Beach with Rags and Lucian (Intuition Mod +4)
2. Try to hawk the last Cubchoos to beach goers (Charm mod +5)
3. Translate ancient Scrap of Text in Latin (Focus Mod +8)

Stormy showed up in her bathing suit as Rags and Lucian were talking.

"You guys didn't think you could sneak off to the beach without me knowing, did you?" she asked, grinning sweetly and wrinkling her nose. In short, being insufferably cute.

(Before Stormy Joined)

Susan looked down for awhile as they walked. Something had been on her mind for awhile, and she felt it was best to just ask. "I know we rarely ever see eye to eye on most decisions, especially how we handle our missions..." She trailed off and crossed her arms, unsure of how to phrase what she was trying to say. Eventually she decided the simplest and most direct question was the best. "...We're good, right? No animosity?"

(After Stormy Joined (and you're quite welcome to, D. You just ninja'd me so I had to make a division :P))

She looked over her shoulder at hearing Llewyn's voice. "Good morning, Ms. Blue. And we'd welcome the company." Susan looked her over and smiled. "I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who thought it would be nice to go for a swim."

Lucian laughs lightly, "We're good. We can learn from each other, hopefully balance out each other a little," he says with a smile.

Once Stormy arrives Lucian waves, "morning, guess today's the beach day for everyone, even with all the water we had yesterday," he says, with a grin, "too bad I'm not that good a swimmer," he rubs the back of his head at the admission.

Rags smiled in reply. "Good. I was a little worried about it. Well, for what it's worth, I'll try to rein in my destructive tendencies. Oh, and that reminds me. Your Binding Crystal. I don't have it on me, but if you swing by my room once you're done in the OR, I'll return it."

1 + 2: Interrogate and then vivisect Locke. Interrogation will be about the prototype.

3: -

I'm still waiting for Ger's and Tar's actions.

((Now, when are the missions going to be updated? :P ))

Action One: Use the new robot to scout the Airfield out, mostly on NPO troop strength and fortifications. (Total tech mod is 7)
Action Two: Scan Vanadia (Total tech mod is 7)
Action Three: Pokemon hunting, searching for an eletric type this time around, using an ultraball (Total tech mod is 7)

Why Vanadia? Kuji's dissecting Locke, which covers the Steel Type for containers, and it doesn't really advance the other research projects, which is sort of why I suggested scanning one of the mon from the dungeons, Lavender or one of the Buizel would advance two projects at the same time. Just curious because it seems both redundant and not as useful as scanning one of the other two, unless you're trying to find new research projects.

Actually, it DOES advance another project: Special Armour.

Besides, two rolls to try and get a research topic done helps with our chances, especially if one fails :P

Oh, then Lavender and the Buizel contribute to 3, not just 2, underdog theory, the dungeon inquiry, and Special Armor. Nidoran would fill the field and monster category while buizel could fill the field only.

Lavender's probably a better choice for scanning because it contributes to three projects in 4 ways.

(After the forum turn is usually when the missions go up. This week I doubt I can do the forum turn until Friday, and I have an assignment due Thursday night. We will likely play again Sunday or Monday.)

Kuji. Lock and roll tonight with or without Ger. I'll try to do the turn tomorrow, and we will aim to play on Monday.
