Damn :o

Tornadus blood, awesome! And instant loyalty from it is even more so (seriously was not expecting that).

Will have to update my Woobat's stats once we get onto the next session, and split the Exp I got between them.

Anyway, saving my growth point for now.

Action one: Head to Claire's house, find out what she knows about Mark's imprisonment by the PCNA (Special action. This is neither a capture nor sell-out action)

Action Two: Try again to scout the Airfield out, using the other drone via remote control to do it.

Action Three: Continue interrogating Mark, see if there's anything about his life prior to incarceration.

1. Meet with Jordan Fine to pickup information. (Mod is Spirit 4 + Charm 1 = 5 / 2 = 2.5. If the +3 bonus is applied beforehand, then the equation is Spr 4 + Charm 4 = 8 / 2 = 4. I'm aware that it's 95% likely it isn't added first, but I'm including it here to be more helpful. :P)
2. Head to the Haunted Pier and Capture a Dark Type. (Mod is Pow 2 + Athl 2 = 4 /2 = 2.)
3. Take a stroll on the Tropical Sands, looking for nothing in particular. (Mod is Int 5 + Per 1 = 6 / 2 = 3.)

1. Dissect Joltik corpse  (EDU mod 4)
2. Explore swamps area.  (Perception mod 3.5)
3. Training (Haline 14, Milli 14, Seiche 10) one injury

Niko, having looked over the notes from the previous dissections and vivisections, felt they were close to another breakthrough should they remain persistent.  As such, he decided hhe would try his hand at the Joltik mutant in the freezer.  He hoped he would have some assistance when he got there, but  felt with the notes available and the experience gained previously he could solo it if necessary.

After spending a while in he OR, he wanted to spend a little time outside.  Upon leaving the Facility, he ran into Lucien.  "So, Lucien, feel like going for a stroll?"  They then proceeded to explore the swamps, not looking for anything specific.  But who knows, you never know what you could find there.

"Thanks for the company, Lucien.  That place is a bit creepy to go to alone." Niko said as they returned.  Knowing Haline was still hurting from the last training, he still felt that he could use some more training.  Even though he was capable of small spouts of flame, he didn't have anything he could use as a weapon yet.  So, Niko sent him, Milli, and Seiche on a small obstacle course with a battle at the end.  He figured by going at about 75% power they could get a bit out of the training without any serious injuries.  Well, he hoped so at least.

1. Explore The Fangs (the slums one). Mod is Spirit 7 + Intuition 4 = 11 / 2 = 5.5
2. Explore Swamp with Niko. Mod is Intelligence 5 + Perception 2 = 7 / 2 = 3.5
3. Explore Tropical Sands with Rags. Mod is Power 3 + Athletics 0 = 3 / 2 = 1.5 - 2 = -0.5

Lucian decides to be a bit of an explorer today, going to various areas with or without his fellow agents. He borrows Poison Gas, Ember, and Fly first to help him out. It'd definitely give him some helpful abilities.

(Does the +3 Fly Speed from Fly apply when it's Borrowed?)

Susan coincidentally happened upon Lucian as she walked toward the beach. "Mr. Constantine," she said in a pleasant tone, greeting him with a small wave. "Are you also headed to the beach? If so, would you like to walk with me? I wouldn't mind the company," she offered.

"Neither would I," Lucian replies, "it's relaxing to just take a walk, isn't it?"

Susan nodded. "I think sometime soon we should take a vacation day and just head to the beach for the entire day." She looked around as they walked. "I've never been out of Britain before. I have to say I prefer the climate here in the tropics. I may have to buy some swimwear." Rags pushed her hair back over her shoulders, then put her hands back in her coat pockets. "Actually, I'm a bit curious about you, Mr. Constantine. Didn't you say you could see the auras of others? How did you come by that ability? Were you born with it?" she asked. As a scientist of sorts, her curiosity was piqued by her current companion.

Lucian pauses slightly, "I was born with my ability to channel pokemon, I got my ability to see aura much later, I don't know exactly when it happened, it was sort of gradual, so I never really noticed it much," he replies then gives a bit of a grin, "I will say it's what got me this far, I'd probably have been put elsewhere if I didn't have it."

"Channeling pokemon..." Susan trailed off for a moment. "I know it's true but as a woman of science it seems hard to believe that there could be some sort of metaphysical connection between two or more beings - especially of different species - that can be created or severed at will. If I hadn't met you I probably would have always thought it was some sort of quasi-New Age babble... I apologize. I don't mean to be offensive if I am being so. But I am quite interested in your abilities. What is it like, channeling a pokemon?" she asked. She'd never know, herself. All her information had to be second-hand.

"I get that a lot," Lucian says, "in all honesty, it's actually a sort of psychic link, extending a part of your mind to touch another and anchor it there, not a merging of mind that most people describe it as. It gives you an understanding of the pokemon you're channeling and how they're feeling," he pauses in speaking, "it's like you've known each other your entire life, but only just met at the same time. Every time you channel a pokemon, you seem to find something new, an aspect that you didn't notice before. And it works in reverse to a certain degree, the pokemon gets an understanding of the channeler, it's why I have such a good connection with Guide and Thanatos. It's also why I want to work with the pokemon we get from our missions, with my ability, I'm hoping to be able to turn them into assets for us."
