Lucian takes out his wallet, then shows Rags a picture of him when he was younger, his hair was dyed green even then, standing next to a girl with light grey hair, pointed ears, and slit pupiled green eyes holding him around the shoulder with a large grin on her face, showing sharpened fangs, "that's Angela, never did figure out what kind of mutant she was, but she was my best friend when I was a kid. She's the reason I started training as an agent," he says, the sad smile still there, "You remind me of her, she was inquisitive, intelligent, very good with numbers, and knew quite a bit about medicine even at that age," he shakes his head, "she was a bit of a tomboy, probably the only girl in my entire town that didn't mind getting her hands dirty. Believe it or not, she was actually four years older than me," she looks like she'd be maybe a year older, at most, "I think I was 18 when some anti-mutant cult of some sort abducted her," he's not smiling anymore, "she was in a coma, they'd tortured her for no reason than she wasn't completely human," he shakes his head, "she woke up during my training to be an agent, I got to talk to her before she died," he gives a bit of a dry laugh, "she had actually been planning to ask me to marry her, if you can believe it, I didn't even know she liked me until then. She flatlined the next day," he pulls a small, very worn and greyed box from his pocket, "I still have the ring she planned to give me, it was a nice reversal of traditional roles," he shows Rags the ring, a simple silver band with a piece of polished onyx instead of a gem, "Angela made me promise to give this ring to whoever I settle down with when I decide to. She was stubborn about it, always was, right to the very end."
