Sami:
You head out to tropical sands in search of a buyer for the jewelry you looted out of the manor. You manage got get a few offers in the 1k-3k range, but you suspect the Jewelry should be worth alot more than that. Eventually you decide to head home without selling; You have big plans for the day, and building armored flying machines isn't something you can pull off in two or three hours.

Faust, in anticipation of your construction projects, seems to have taken the initiative to order in some expensive parts from London for you to work with. After paying the very hefty acquisition fee you get to work planning and designing your vehicle. You then spend the rest of the day getting started on the construction, leaving your robot and a group of pricey contractors to finish the job overnight.

The Mechanics Department informs me that you have used too many recipes on your robot this turn. Since I'm in a rush to get stuff done so we can play tomorrow, I'm not going to waste time getting you to correct this issue. Sorry.
Doug:
You inform Carlos that Rascal is to be shipped back to London and give him the money to prepare a container. You then head to the office and breeze through the paperwork as fast as you can, deciding that having more time to interview Pisces is more important than crossing your 't's and dotting your 'i's. Faust checks your work and guesses that they payment will be in the 1500py range. He happily pays you that much in advance from his own pocket and gets Niko to do the dirty work of hauling the mutant into the container.

You break for lunch before meeting the fish mutant in the interrogation room. You quickly begin to wish that Sami didn't ban your usual methods, as the mutant proves very tough to crack. Whips and chains yield nothing except the revelation that the soldier was trained to withstand such torture, and about 8 minutes into the water-boarding it occurs to you that the water-type mutant is actually enjoying it.
Eventually however your persistence pays off and the mutant shares some information relating to KotS territory and some of the sub-factions in general.
"The Western side of KotS turf is called Burnout Flats. Nasty place where nobody wants to live. More or less like the Southeastern Fang before it burned. The Kings Rape, Rob, and otherwise torment the citizens as they please there. The Kings make most of their money by shipping the drugs they make to Florida, Mexico, and the Caribbean from the docks in Burnout Flats. Gertrude 'Heifer' Tawn and her Kings of Meth compete with 'Doc' Iambway Filler and his Voodoo Kings for control of the area."
"The Central Part of Kings turf is part of Port Cane's old downtown. It is pure heaven compared to the flats. Lots of shops and businesses that have been in the same family for hundreds of years. My eldest brother Thomas Jefferson Cole keeps order there, controlling the local sub-gangs and keeping JS from flooding across the border to add our part of downtown with their own."
"The eastern part of our turf is where the old Sugar Plantations are at. Best rum in the world, and we grow some cocaine and poppies there as well from time to time. My family still owns and operates Cole Plantation, as we have for 350 years or so. Swain Plantation constantly and violently changes hands since the family that used to run it was more or less whipped out awhile back. Commons plantation is still run by the Commons Family, but tensions between the plantation and the Kings are rather high because alot of their members are loyal too or employed by the PCNA."
"The Peninsula on the far south end of the island is called Seawind Estates, and is one of the nicest places to live in the world. Most of the KotS leadership make their home there, regardless of which part of the island they control. Mr. Chekhov's men police the streets there and keep the residents from bringing their work home with them."

Lucian:
You hit the streets with the list of disguises and hangouts frequented by Marylin Freeman. You luck out and spot Changeling within 30 minutes of starting your search. She leads you into a dark alley before transforming from a stray houndoom into a more or less human form. She hands you the folder of data and engages you in a brief discussion about Lucy and her kidnappers.
"I don't know where Lucy is, but if you are one of Doug's men, rest assured that your boss will find her. He loves her like a child... Or at least he did. I heard he was quite content to let those World Police Douchebags hold onto her for a few weeks. I'm going to have to talk some sense into him when I'm done with this assignment. I used to visit his flower shop before the pigs closed it. He's a good friend. I'm not going to let bad people like Insaneon or the WPSF manipulate him."
Feeling a bit uncomfortable with Marylin's dislike of the WPSF you direct the conversation more towards Insaneon, whom you assume must be Virgil Swain. "I don't know where he is exactly, but I can tell you the whereabouts of four of his notable mooks. Pisces Cole is hold up in one of the old Swain family properties just across the burnt fang on JS Turf. Maynard Helm is likely launching an attack on the Port Cane Media office as we speak, from what I understand Insaneon wants to incite mass panic like he did in the old days, and there is no better way to do that than to control the propaganda offices. Basilisk Cole is down in Kings Turf, recruiting for Insaneon's faction. Finally I've heard about some new girl he picked up; her name is Talia and she is a Weepingbell mutant. I hear she is almost as nuts as her boss. From what I understand, she is planning and executing terror style attacks on the JS controlled part of downtown."
The Ditto mutant scratches her head. "Hopefully I'll have more information tomorrow evening. We suspect Vanessa Commons of the Port Cane Narcissistic Arseholes Secret Police will be going after Insaneon herself. My colleague Scarface plans to get a few boys together and raid her office to steal as much data as he can tomorrow night."
You leave as quickly as you can, not wanting the contact to find out you are WPSF, and drop off your folder of information at the Fang. You recieve your payment without issue.

Finding Rik and Cicero you set to work examining the statue. Cicero proves his worth right away. "This is a statue of Kyogre, one of the mortal forms the sea itself is supposedly capable of taking. There is typically some cult or another running about the water dungeon and trying to bring about Kyogre's return, but they are harmless; Without the Blue Orb, which is locked up in some PCNA Vault somewhere, that could never happen."
Rik nods slowly. "My people see Kyogre as the devil or end of the world. This is what it looks like? We are forbidden from depicting it in our art."
Cicero shurgs. "Port Cane has bigger things to worry about than Old Gods, but yes, most depictions of Kyogre generally look like this. Anyway, statues like this are typically covered in text that is hidden or invisible under most circumstances. If we can figure out how to bring it into the visible spectrum we can learn something."
Many things, such as turning out the lights, feeling for indentations, and scanning with some of Rik's equipment are tried but nothing reveals the text. Nothing, that is, until you come up with the idea to try UV light, which reveals the following words in plain English appear. "Blessed and wise are you for finding one of Kyogre's many secrets. The road to truth and enlightenment is often difficult, and it rarely leads where one wants it too, so I will grant you Wisdom to aid you on this quest!"
For some reason you feel a bit wiser and more connected to nature...
While you work to pack the statue back into it's storage case you ask Rik about trading in your sword. He recommends you talk to his father, Toe, who is the head artificer of the Cloister Community.

You head down to the lab and drug a Buizel, which you then proceed to cut into. By now the process of measuring and photographing organs for Dr. Gonzalez is more or less second nature, and the procedure is completed quickly and without incident. Carlos informs you that your findings are exactly what he was hoping for, and will order parts for an ambitious new project should the rest of the Inquiry on Dungeon Pokemon go as planned.

Llewyn:
You gather Rik and Cicero to conduct a proper examination of the abstract art painting. At first Cicero is miffed that you just took the painting, but eventually he calms down and admits he had never thought to properly examine Virgil's abstract works from an artificer's perspective. After a bit of initial study, Rik, Cicero, and Yourself determine that the art in fact perfectly depicts fractals, multiple dimensions, and even advanced thermodynamic equations in picture form. You spend the rest of the morning taking notes on the angles and colors - for science. Everybody is sure that the data you have found will help Carlos immensely, and Cicero figures that further breakthroughs may be made if someone were to look at the picture even more closely.

After grabbing brunch, you make a bee-line down to the water dungeon and check the place out. The opening chamber seems to have changed a bit since your last visit; you now find yourself standing on a dock overlooking what seems to be an endless black sea.
"Beautiful, isn't it?"
The voice is female, and you turn to find that it originates from a figure wearing blue robes and a hood. "You are Llewyn, are you now?"
You answer in the affirmative and the figure reaches out to shake your hand. "I am Charity, a perspective initiate into The First Church of the Blue Orb. The Beggar King speaks highly of you."
After a bit of discussion you learn that Charity, in the name of some sort of initiation ritual, is planning on staying in the dungeon after the entrance vanishes. If she can retain enough of her mind until she can exit, she will be allowed to 'Join the Beggar King in Kyogre's Sacrament'.
Charity eventually decides that she should attempt the challenge without her worldly possessions, so she decides to give them to you.

You return to base, your meeting with Charity having given you much to think about. You decide to work through your thoughts while partaking in the monotonous task of translating the document from Sanskrit, which turns out to be some sort of weird descriptive essay about using mind control on humans. After your work concludes, you return your translation key and the document to Rik and collapse upon your bed.

Susan:
You decide to spend the day in the lab with Carlos. Sadly this gets off to a rather rough start; after nagging Lucian to borrow guide for scanning purposes, you flick on the machine only to find that it can't pick up any image of the ghost type. Carlos and you spend the rest of the morning trying to re-calibrate the machine to work on the Litwik, but your efforts prove to be in vain.

With scanning a ghost out of the picture for now, you decide to just dissect one. Since no conveniently (re)dead ghosts are around, you decide to euthanize a duskull from storage. Sadly the pokemon vaporizes into gaseous ectoplasm the instant you strike it down...

The pair of you decide to take a break for lunch and romance (which is interrupted by Lucian calling Carlos to the lab to vivisect a Pokemon!) before returning to work at around three in the afternoon. You learn from Carlos that Lucian's vivisection went quite well, so you decide to try that next to gather data on ghost types. You grab a ghastly from storage and some ghost manipulator tools from a drawer, and set to work seeing what makes spirits tick! This turns out quite nicely, and you manage to get readings on the makeup of it's ectoplasm as well as measurements of the few organs that it has. Dr. Gonzalez informs you that this brings him closer to completing research on both the Afterlife and Underdog Pokemon.
