(Some quick RP before the session tonight)

Lucian sighs as he walks through the halls, his normal sword strapped across his back, he didn't particularly care for the red one, to be entirely honest. He'd likely give it over to Rik now that it was completely examined, probably in trade for his current request. He stops near Rags' room at one point, but passes on and instead goes to the Armory, picking up a shadow blaster and a holster for it. He was the most well armed in the group at this point his Saber, the Rod of Binding Crystal, and the Shadow Blaster he just picked up, plus his current skill set being rather combat oriented, yea, he was the most well armed. He shakes his head and walks on, trying to not let his mind wander like that. It was surprising how often it was happening lately...

Once that's done, he goes to see Rik about a project he was interested in.

(Will send you a PM with the "Project Idea," WS)

After the Mission...

Rags is likely still mending, when she wakes up to the delicious smell of a bowl of chicken soup by her bed on a tray, with a note and basket beside.

Also, since my Maels Rain Dance was at least partially responsible for your condition, I do apologize and hope you don't hold it against me. I promise to use it more strategically in the future.

Oh, and I also made some fried plaintains for Trellis and dug up some mossy rocks for Core from the nearby unkempt gardens. Granted, I'm only just getting used making food for pokemon, so I don't know what they like...anyway, get well soon! Feel free to call if you need anything.

Rags had went back to her room after Carlos left the apartment to get to work and went back to sleep, only to be woken up again a few hours later by the smell of food and the sound of a door closing very quietly. She rubbed her eyes and sat up in bed, spotting the tray quickly. Hmm... ah, whoever it was left a note here. She read it and then zotted out Trellis, Core, and Galore. The first two she gave the food indicated, and Galore she shared the soup with. The meal passed quite quickly, and she resumed lounging with Galore on her stomach, Trellis getting comfortable at her feet, and Core quietly rolling around the room and looking for more rocks.

The next time I run into her I'll have to thank her. That was thoughtful of her. She reached down with her good hand and idly scratched Galore's ears while she thought about her plans for the day. If it wasn't for my injuries, I'd head down to Septicslum and get that steel-type relative of Kull's... but while I could probably still outfight him, I'd rather not risk taking another blow to the head or the ribs while I'm healing. I don't need to compound my concussion or get that cracked rib broken.

She yawned, but went ahead and zotted up her pokemon so she could change into some clean clothes and head out for the day. I think I'll just head to the beach over in Tropical Sands and catch some sun. Maybe something will happen, (Perception +4) she thought, opting for swimwear instead of normal clothing and putting together a small bag of beach supplies like a towel and sunblock instead of her normal gear of shotgun and medkit.

1. Vivisect the Shellder we got from the Water Dungeon. Modifier is Perception 4 + Intelligence 5 = 9 / 2 = 4.5

With Rags out of the OR for a while, Lucian decides to try and do a little help on the research front. He sets out with the shellder he had gotten from the Water Dungeon in its pokeball, "Dr. Gonzales? You here? Thought you might be interested in this one, pokemon from the Water Dungeon. It's the one that took down Dr. Traverse while we were there," he says, deciding to forgo calling her Rags or Susan when talking to the Doctor, he didn't need to mention that it'd also help with Underdog Theory.

"While I'm here, I'd also like to pick up the basic pokemon cure for Lucy," Lucian says before leaving after the procedure, which he then places on top of the case with the stones in it with a note on it for Lucy.

This is the mutant cure, if you'd like to use it. Sorry it took me so long to actually get it for you, but Dr. Gonzales is hard to talk to when he's with Rags...

2. Go to Tropical Sands with Rags to try and find leads to a mission. Modifier is Perception 4 + Intelligence 5 = 9 / 2 = 4.5

Lucian tags along with Rags when she heads to Tropical Sands, "I'm going to try and pick up leads to a mission, and make sure you don't overexert yourself for Dr. Gonzales," he replies to any inquiries as to why he's tagging along, "I can also help with anything that may come up if you need it."

3. Investigate the Kyogre Idol. Modifier is Intuition 4 + Spirit 7 = 11 / 2 = 5.5

Once back Lucian heads to Rik to examine the whale-like mon statue, it was said to be of a divine nature so it would be interesting to see the properties it possessed, it would also be a good time to ask Rik about his request for a new, stronger sword. (could we do that in RT on MapTools or Skype sometime before the next session?)

(Rags is just randomly hanging out on the beach and you are looking for a mission. I can't count that as a group action. And I'll just throw your request in as part of the forum turn.)

(Thanks. And I know that it wouldn't be a group action, I don't intend it to be. But it does give an excuse to bail her out if something bad happens.)

(I don't mind our mods being counted for separate things. :P It just means we potentially get twice as much done. ^^^)

Susan raised an eyebrow when Lucian elected to follow her 'for Dr. Gonzalez.' "I appreciate the concern, but I'm not planning on doing anything dangerous today." She smiled and shrugged. "We're always so busy with our missions and our personal projects that we almost never take any time off for ourselves, so I'm using my injuries as an excuse for a vacation day. But you're perfectly welcome to come along with me. I wouldn't mind the company." And, if it comes to it, someone to put the sunblock on my back.

"Considering the only common ground I currently have with him is knowing what it's like to want someone you care about being protected, I thought it'd be one of the better ways to at least try and get some understanding of him, besides, I'm going to be looking for some leads to missions we may be able to do while we're there, so it's a practical reason too, but if something happens I can help out at least," Lucian replies with a grin, "Still have the scar from the last time something bad happened there, you actually dealt with that one if I remember right."

(If Sami Scans my Nidoran or one of the Buizel, we can possibly get more towards the Dungeon and Underdog projects.)

Susan thought for a moment. "Ah, you mean the murderer we caught with Douglas." She was silent for a moment, looking at her feet. "That was bad all around. I'm almost tempted to press for his release; we need the space in the cells and I'm sure his family would like to have him back. On the other hand, well... he might be dangerous still." She sighed. "Hopefully his wife and children are doing OK with that thousand I gave them... let's change the subject..."

It wasn't the kind of thing she wanted to think about right now, but there was one other thing she wanted to talk to him about. Now was a good time, since they were out of the base and away from the rest. "That Taillow mutant we have. The child. Normally I would have no problem dissecting a mutant for knowledge's sake, but... he can't be older than five or six, and most if not all the mutants that have been under my blade have been gang members or criminals. What I'm trying to say is I'm thinking of asking for his freedom. Do you think it's a good idea? He might not have anywhere to go."

"Was talking about the time I went out looking for the stones for Lucy, actually, lynch mob got me across the eye," Lucian says, "but yea, not something to talk about now."

"Hm... he can't even speak English... I doubt he'd be able to get by even if he was able to though. Maybe we could do soemthing like we did with Lucy, keep him on base and have him act as a runner for messages and the like until we can get him under better care, probably back at the main base or in the Cloyster Community. We'll need to teach him English or find someone that can speak with him at least. Faust probably won't want to deal with him beyond anything work related, same with Dr. Gonzalez, maybe even less than that since he doesn't like mutants," Lucian continues on this line for a bit, "I think it'd be best if Lucy and I took care of him if we do go that route, Lucy's a fellow mutant and is under similar circumstances, and I can possibly read what's going on with him by reading his aura. Not a full solution, but it's probably the best option until we can get him with someone that can better care for him. What do you think?"

You may only attempt each action once per forum turn, unless it has more than one skill you can roll for it, in which case you must roll a different skill check each time.

For example you can roll Survival or Technology to go Pokemon Hunting. You can go Pokemon hunting once using Technology and then once using Survival. Pokemon Training (for now) just uses Command. You can only do Pokemon training once per session.

You need to change up some of your actions Dwar.

Susan nodded. "Ah, I remember now. I'm glad we managed to save your eye. But to get back to what we were discussing, I think you would do well by him. You should ask Ms. Blue if she could help, as well. She's a kind-hearted individual and I think she can probably care for a child much better than Sami or myself. If nothing else she's a good cook, and a young boy needs to eat healthily." She took a black scrunchy out of her beach bag and started tying her hair back as they walked. "It's not that I dislike mutants or children... I just wouldn't have the slightest idea how to treat a kid." She shrugged. She hadn't exactly grown up in a 'family environment,' as it were, and didn't have any experience in what families were like. She decided to change the subject. "In any case, what kinds of leads are you looking for out today?" she asked.

"Just probing around, really. Anything that could earn us some allies would be good, or anything that promises useful things like weapons, armor, or medical gear would also be interesting. Or something that would offer us something we could use for research would be a good change of pace from just stumbling on it like we have been," Lucian replies, "speaking of research, I'll be going to the OR to vivisect that shellder I got from the Water Dungeon, going to see if Sami will scan the Nidoran so we can get somewhere with the Underdog Theory and Dungeon Research. Hopefully we'll have something done by the time you've fully recovered."

"I had another idea too, in regards to the truce we currently have with JS," Lucian says, "Afina Dobre is a JS officer, though she has the feel of a noble that got into it for the glory, I think they'd like to have her back, so, I had the idea to see if she'd let us Scan her and maybe answer some questions, then release her to JS as a show of good faith, it'd also free up some cells until we get those shipping containers. What're your thoughts on that?"
