Rags laughed nervously. "Indeed. To be fair I was merely trying to intimidate her into joining us, but I see your point. If I see her I'll talk to her about it, but I'm going to be busy in the operating room for most of today. You might want to warn her to steer clear of the area unless she wants to see me at work. Well... I'm going to get dressed, so... I'll see you later." She smiled and waited to see him off before changing into her usual lab attire and making ready to head to the OR...

(Also, I found a good voice for Rags, if anyone wants to take a listen. It's linked on her character page too.)

"I'm taking her on a bit of a tour today, I'll keep it in mind," Lucian replies before walking back to his room to prepare for the day, (this is about when his Turn starts)

Action one: Head to Claire's house, find out what she knows about Mark's imprisonment by the PCNA (Special action. This is neither a capture nor sell-out action)

Action two: Interrogate the gothita mutant, mostly just basic things this time, like rank, reason for being here etc. Also bring out Seivette to help in the interrogation (Psychic pokemon, gotta love 'em :D )

Action three: Poffin making: Ask Lucy if she has any experience making poffins. If so, ask her to make some out of 6 Persim berries, 6 Aguav, and 18 nanab berries to make six value 5 bitter poffins

Anyone claim the umbreon yet? I'd like it if I could have it. Also, could we theoretically scan our own pokemon for research purposes?

Doug goes around the base, yawning before planning out his day by looking around.

Oh, look, there's Niko trying to train his Pokemon again. And Lucian. Might as well show them how it's done. He joins the other two in Pokemon Training, using his level 11 Rhyhorn and level 11 Timburr, inflicting two injuries each and using his whip on both of them. (Pokemon Training, Rhyhorn 11, Timburr 11, inflicting two injuries each.)

Afterwards, he checks the interrogation schedules. How boring is it, though, that he must be out of the loop with the others. Oh well, seems like he's going to interrogate Kull again. A proper interrogation this time. It should be easier to intimidate him, now that he's, ahem, looser than before. Though if he fails, might as well make him more loose before Rags has her way with him. (Interrogate Kull before he gets killed, using Intimidate.)

Afterwards, he thinks he'll go explore the southern fang some. Though the civilians might be gone, there may be some good lays there. Especially if they were good lay mutants. He might actually have found something that pleases him specifically after all. Well, aside from the whole BDSM thing. (Explore southern Fang, looking to capture mutants specifically, using Athletics.)

All actions have not been locked. They will be locked about a day after the mission.

Alright, now that the mission has completed, I need reduced actions from Tar and SC. SC has already told me to get rid of the lab stuff, so I just need Tar's input before I lock the actions.

Also...

Lucian has reached 10 TEXP! He gains a Trainer Level!

Mission Complete!

You earn your standard 2000py Operation Fee!
The Cloister Community thanks you for delivering the orb, and offers the WPSF permission to travel their lands. Permanent +1 to Exploring the Barren Peninsula!
The Cloister community has sent a representative to your base to serve as an Ambassador! See RP Below...

The Beach!

The man takes the offer of money for his children and surrenders. You let the kids finish dressing his wounds before taking him into custody. He barks some orders at the children in a language you don't understand as you drag him off...

-1000 PY for Rags
+1 Human Captive

At HQ:

The Ambassador arrives on a dirtbike, fully covered in a jumpsuit and biker's helmet to conceal his mutant identity. Faust leads him into the mess hall at lunch time for introductions.

"This is Rik. The mutants from the Barren Peninsula sent him here to serve as their representative to us. He has also offered his services to us. It would seem that he was an artificer's apprentice before they tapped him for this job."

The Ambasador nods and removes his helmet, revealing a face that is more Nincada than human. He looks young, although his mutated features make it tough to tell for sure. Mid to late teens perhaps. "Greetings friends. I am Rik, third son and second apprentice of Toe. I look forward to bridging the gap between your people and my own, as well as assisting you in the study of items."

The Item Study action has been unlocked!
Rik may grant missions from his tribe from time to time!

"Mr. Rik," Susan said simply. She wasn't at her best at the moment - in fact she looked rather haggard as she recuperated from the thorough beating her internal organs had taken from the death water. She wasn't much in the mood for talk and instead sipped her cocoa slowly, willing to let the other team members do all the introductions for now. I'm getting low on pokeballs. I should buy some more. "If you'll excuse me, I have some things I need to get. And then I'm going to take some medicine and go back to sleep." She gave a slight nod of parting and then went to the vending machines.

(I'm going to buy 8 pokeballs and 2 potions, which'll use up my entire mission reward. I already deducted the $1000 from my previous mission payment, so no worries there. :3)

Niko:

You spend some time with your new Umbreon. At first it uses every opportunity it can find to try and attack you. With a few food bribes and a hefty dose of applied Eevolution psychology, you manage to take some of the vennom out of its wrath. It is now more than content to co-exist with your other Pokemon. You still doubt it would be wise to try to use it in battle, or turn your back on it for too long however...

Jolteon and Flareon are left in a bathroom stall overnight, but sadly produce no egg by morning.

Sami:

You head down to Claire's house, only to find the mutant is not home. You wait for a few hours, and eventually she shows up, carrying a surfboard and accompanied by two friends. You attempt to ask her about Mark's arrest but get cut off before you can finish the question. "Listen, that jerk vanished overnight and broke my heart. If you are the c*** who stole him, he is your problem now. Leave me out of it."

The girls head inside without another word, and several minutes later you hear a karaoke machine fire up and several girls attempting and failing to cover Rick Ghastly's 'Never Gonna Use Spit Up'. Not wanting to do something rash outnumbered 3 to 1 you head back to base in part to escape the bad singing.

Back at HQ you find that Lucy is just finishing up your poffin order. It would seem that she had made a few mistakes early on in the process, but she was able to improvise and salvage the batch using a few packs of oatmeal, vanilla extract, kitchen grade moo-moo milk, and the weed that was in Mr. Kulls pocket when you brought him in.

+6 Value 5 Bitter Poffins

Lucian:

Afina is more than willing to talk, to you anyway. "WPSF eh? We didn't even know that you were on this island. Guess it is for the better. You did save my life. Those so called 'Kings' fight like rabid dogs. Not men. They burned and gassed the people under their own protection just to trap and kill a few hundred of us."

You then get her talking about her upbringing. She was born in Romania, but moved to Africa when she was six when her father was tapped to work at the United Counties Embassy to the Reclamation Project, a pan-African mutant faction based out of the Congo. After a falling out with her father, and the would-be husband he had picked for her, Afina enrolled in the United Counties Officer Training Program, which sent her to Port Cane. You get the feeling that although she appears to be a powerful mutant, she is rather inexperienced in military or espionage matters. She is little more than a spoiled child who until very recently had an overly romantic idea of what war was.

In exchange for saving her, Afina figures the honorable thing to do would be to answer one sensitive question for you to the best of her ability. You promise to consider her offer before taking your leave.

Roll After Mods = 18

In search of an evolution stone you decided to pay a visit to one of tropical sands many tent cities. You ask around about the items you are after, but are met with no initial luck.

As you leave a seedy merchant tent you spot a large crowd and check it out. They have caught a KotS mutant, likely one of many who slipped into PCNA turf after burning the Southeastern fang, and look to be preparing to lynch him. You try to step in and stop the madness, but two members of the mob beat you back with broken liquor bottles. Receiving a nasty gash to the face you tuck you tail between your legs and return to HQ to get it checked out.

Luckily the damage is nothing that can't be patched up by a bandage.

Susan:

After spending most of the day in bed recovering, you decide to gather some information.

Tracking down Mr. Fine is the easy part. You simply head to the part of town where he is known to work and wait. Eventually he shows up, sits down next to you on the bench, and starts flirting.

You play along for a few minutes before getting down to business. He is suspicious at first when you ask him for the information, but eventually and with a bit of encouragement he warms up to the idea of handing it over to you. Just before you can seal the deal however a PCNA patrol passes by Jordan Fine panics and flees, leaving you alone. You wait a few hours, but he doesn't return.

Roll After Mods = 13

Doug:

Mr. Kull seems to have recovered nicely from his last encounter with you. Perhaps a bit too nicely. He explains that once he got over the shock of that stuff happening in an official interrogation, it was nothing worse than what his father used to do to him... or what he prefers to do.

Despite your best efforts to keep him on topic, your subject is intent to ignore your torture and spend the entire session mocking your inadequacies and explaining how his technique is far superior to your own. By the time the interrogation concludes even you are a bit disturbed by some of the things this monster has claimed to have done.

Roll After Mods = 15

Deciding to cool off after a rough interrogation, you head outside to the burned out Southern Fang in hopes of catching a new plaything. You quickly spot a Chattot mutant sitting on what is left of a roof, and start climbing after it. It pretends not to notice you until you reach the roof, before flying across the street and landing ontop of a semi trailer. You climb back down and give chase.

The game continues for a good 45 minutes before you manage to get lucky and and pounce on the bird. You wrestle with it, but it manages to eventually throw you aside before you can cuff it. The mutant, perhaps deciding that you are too dangerous to play with, simply leaves. You find yourself unable to keep up with a flying being's serious attempt to lose you.

Roll After Mods = 16

On your way back you spot a broken down tractor laying on the side of the road. This gives you an idea...

Doug + Lucian + Niko:

Today's training is lead by Doug, who leads the group out to a broken down tractor near HQ, and helps everybody hitch their Pokemon to it. The Pokemon are then ordered to pull the heavy piece of equipment, and pull they do.

The tractor inches forward slowly, but Doug is not satisfied. He produces his whip and begins to lash out at the Pokemon he feels are not working hard enough, inflicting some injuries. After an hour and a half of this, Lucian and Niko feel that their Pokemon have had enough and head back in. Doug tries to continue the exercise, but finds that his Pokemon are not strong enough to move the tractor on their own.

Niko and Lucian get 76 EXP
Doug gets 84 EXP
