After spending a good chunk of time in bed recuperating from your injuries, you head to the lab for a bit of dissection work. You call for Gerald's corpses to be brought in, in hopes of spotting some things you might have missed during the Vivesection.
You cut the dead bug-man open in search for his power source. With the help of a car battery, tweezers, and an EKG machine you manage to locate several organs capable of producing electricity. You remove these, photograph them, and cut them open to see what makes them tick. You spend several hours taking notes in this area, before putting the electrical organs in a jars to be frozen separately.
Finally to take a swab of the dead man's DNA, which you hand over to Carlos to be processed. The scientist is ecstatic. "Claro que sí! Very good! These DNA samples should put us on the path towards being able to cure lesser mutants! Furthermore I should be able to replicate that freaks power-source. I can use that to give you all handheld Pokemon Indexes like the elite agents have!"

Faust is a stickler for following WPSF policy for wounded agents. In spite of your protests he forces you to rest until you are fully recovered. By the time you are cleared to leave the infirmary it is too late in the day for you to bother chasing down the Hitmonlee mutant's girlfriend.
You set up and deploy your new remote drone to pay another visit to the airfield. There are no troops around this time, and the drone as free reign of the place. You spend a few hours exploring various hangers, shacks, abandoned planes, and towers. Along the way you note the location of several nests of interesting wild Pokemon. You are not sure if the Pokemon will maintain their current nests for long, expecialy since you disturbed some of them with your drone, but your notes should give the WPSF a heads up while hunting for Pokemon at the airport in the near future.

+2 to all Pokemon Hunts at the Airfield for the next 4 forum turns!
Returning once more to the interrogation room, you send for Mark. Doug shows up to help, but Mark is willing to talk so you send the creepy new agent away. You doubt people who are willing to talk are his specialty...
Mark has plenty to say, but none of it is particularly useful. Before the island went to hell a few years back, he was a teenage waiter at an ocean view seafood eatery. Although he feared the PCNA would kill him if they discovered his condition, Mark couldn't stand the rebels. They were all either ex-cons, mutant supremacists, or anarchists.
Mark decided to throw in his hat with the PCNA, and took work as a messenger where he put his parkour and skateboard skills to the ultimate test. He served for two years before tragedy struck. Mark's estranged parents assumed that their son, as a mutant himself, would join the rebels. Looking to stick up for their child, and perhaps reconnect with him, they signed up in opposition to the President General. His mother was killed in action, and the tragedy was enough to make Mark resign from his post when he found out. Since then Mark has tried to forget his troubles through extreme sports, drugs, booze, and women.
You learn that he still has alot of family on all sides of the civil war. His father makes arms for the KotS and his mother gave her life in service to that faction as a spy. His maternal grandfather works as a chef on the President General's private island, and his maternal uncle is the counterintelligence agent who slew his mother. He has numerous cousins that serve in the military of all four factions. Mark has long since cut his family from his life, and cannot give you reliable contact information for anybody.

Lucian:
As you approach the Southeast Fang, you see smoke and hear screams rising from it. You sneak into the area through the sewers, bypassing the checkpoint. You pop open a manhole cover and find yourself in hell.
The entire area is burning. Every so often an explosion goes off. Eventually a crowd of civilians runs by; you can see from their auras and complexion that they are all dying of poison. Deciding that you don't want to meet the same fate you head back towards the manhole through which you entered but manage to let lost in a cloud of smoke.
It takes you awhile, and there are a few close scares involving fire and choking along the way, but eventually you find your escape; or so you think. The interior is clearly different from the one you arrived from, and an injured woman lies on the ground screaming. Upon further inspection this person turns out to be a Gothita mutant in a Județul Sugar uniform. She looks a bit familiar; perhaps she is related to the Romanian Countess. If so she likely has a high rank. You knock her out, loot her, and haul her through the tunnel and back to a nice warm cell at HQ.

You head to the pier in hopes of catching a dark type. You wait around for hours, passing on several ghosts that are not part dark type, but to your dismay nothing you want shows up before your scheduled walk on the beach with Lucian.

Doug + Lucian + Susan:
The three of you begin walking up the PCNA held beaches near the Tropical Sands comunity. Ingoring the pillars of smoke rising from The Fangs all seems normal here - a rareity from what you have seen of Port Cane so far. Children play and men fish and barbecue. Several surfers even dot the waves.
But as usual the peace is quickly interrupted; this time by a group of small children running in the opposite direction, screaming murder! You round the corner to investigate and are greeted by the massive hulking form of a dead Wailmer. A dead woman lies nearby and is being looted by a man in civilian garb.
The party identifies itself as cops and asks the looter what had happened in hopes of getting to the bottom of the situation. The whole incident turns out to be a friendly battle gone wrong. The woman's Pikachu had slain the another trainer's longtime partner Wailmer with a critical hit thunderbolt attack. The trainer promptly lost his cool and shot both the Pikachu and the woman dead in cold blood.
The killer seems to have been injured in the encounter, and you all have no trouble tracking him down to a picnic blanket a bit further up the beach where his two children are hard at work cooking a Pikachu and bandaging their father's gashed leg. The three of them, like many Port Cane natives, are a bit malnourished. The man is in no position to fight back, and promises to make it worth your while if you let him go and forget you ever saw him.
The stubborn killer refuses to explain what he can do in return for his freedom, but Lucian can, through the man's aura, tell his offer is sincere and that the murderer believes that whatever he has in mind is quite valuable.
Take a human Prisoner and some loot? Or the mystery offer?

Newsflash: Județul Sugar attempted to invade the Southeast Fang today, only to walk into a trap. The Kings of the Street had rigged almost every building in the area to burn or explode, and buried a lot of poison gas mines. The Kings retreated at the first sign of Județul Sugar's attack and activated their traps. The extent of Județul Sugar's losses are unknown at the moment, but almost every building in the area has been totaled. It is likely that the Kings of the Street would have had to kill most or all of the local civilians in the Southeast Fang to prepare and keep secret their trap.
A research breakthrough has been made! Everybody gains a Trainer Level!
