Defensive weapons (eg. shields) gain +15 to Parry but -10 to attack. This particular shield has 8 AP (Primitive) to your arm and one other bodypart (normally your body) and counts it's AP as full towards las weapons.

You would have 1 Fatigue point until you took a painkiller (-10 to all actions).

Uplifting Primer don't do jack, but if you don't have it it's an executable offence.
