So I was on Youtube today, when I notice that a channel I am subscribed to (that usually does casting of competitive Team Fortress 2 gameplay) had put up some videos of live Dwarf Fortress play and commentary! The videos are Hilarious, as the guy making them is 'channeling the dwarves' and rather drunk. I'm not sure Salamancer (The guy who makes these vids) has an account on b12 or not, but he seems to be pretty knowledgeable of DF game-play, culture, and terminology.

Forgive me if this is not the right place for this, as I don't visit the upper boards often, but I just had to share.

Be warned, if you follow this guy on Youtube or Twitch, you will likely see way more stuff about Team Fortress than Dwarf Fortress.

I've watched the first episode and it's been pretty entertaining so far (albeit face-palm-inducing). The webcam feed does get in the way a lot though. I also agree that you are too mean to your little beards. Save that cruelty for the elves, gobbos, and kobolds.

Watched all the videos. It was very Fun. Maybe it would help to inform you, however, that you could've made your dwarves last a lot longer by assigning your miner to use his pick as a weapon. Just use 'specific weapon' in the military menu. He will drop his pick and just punch things when you activate his squad otherwise.

I just found him on Youtube and figured alot of b12ers wouldn't get to see it because it is on a channel usually devoted to another game.
