Sorry! I'm swamped right now with work... I feel really bad and stuff. Yesterday when I said I'm working on it, I literally fell asleep on the keyboard. So now I'm behind schedule on everything.

But I will devote an hour to it now.

You do what you have to do, no haste. I was thinking, perhaps Hammerscar should evolve to a kind of metropolis, with the different factions have different coats of arms and quarters. Is this a horrible idea?

No! Don't listen to AustralianWinter! You will SKIP work, and skip all other responsibilities!! Hammerscar must continue on.

An Engraving, Far Below Hammerscar:

There's something in the wind. It bears ill tidings, and speaks of sorrow, death and betrayal.
It mumbles of blood-red skies and drowning voices. It commands me, I think, but I refuse to be commanded.
Am I not free? Are we not all free? There's an end to everything, even winter.
Even tyranny. Even death is just a moment. Nothing is forever.

Most certainly so, AW. Great idea about all that. But I only have a year and there's so much I to do. By the way, sign me up another turn, please.

And I most certainly will work on the update now  :)

All should be on the list now. 13 years is a lot of time, though!

Zombi - Craftsdwarf and Engraver MURDERED BY THE VAMPIRE, UNDER BREWSTER'S REIGN

awww... I didn't do it on purpose! And I was really confused, because the vampire then picked the body up and placed it in the corpse pile, so no one even could FIND the body. Tricky trick'ster.

AW. Great idea about all that. But I only have a year and there's so much I to do.

Don't worry, that's why it's a succession, everyone piggy-backs on eachothers progress. Hoping the walls I built would be the start of the TOWER!! but it seems now people want to go to middle of the map. And A&W is right about the river running by the entrance. I hope Tirion or one of the mechanical dwarfs makes a trap that floods the enterance from the river, sweeping our enemies away. That'd be cool.

I think the edge is awesome! It's 1/4 chance it sucks, but if sieges and such come from the other 3 sides we have extra time!!

Edit: And on the front page.

Bronze and Gavakis  have dwarfs in the game, so they should be red.
Pokonic, Eli, Artimaus - do not, since I left the save file

I was thinking more like a subterrean drowning trap hall, a safe water reservoir, and an above ground hospital and prison complex, sharing well-shafts over several levels.
And an above-ground statue garden that's periodically locked down an flooded by between 4/7 and 6/7 levels of water. If cave adaptation is treated/prevented, it's one less sad thought for everyone... and if idlers get good attributes from swimming, hauling will be faster and drafted military dwarves stronger.

It never freezes in our embark, does it?

Being an architectural illiterate, I completely supports Tirions idea, as long as I don't have to design it. It's for the good of Hammerscar, trust me.

EDIT: Also, I wrote a very short resume of the story so far in the OP.

Let me guess, ambush?
Also, above ground tower might be good where it is, but secondary entrances would be useful in every corner of the map. And if possible, archer towers everywhere, accessible only from below. That's one way to dominate an army of melee goblins  :P

You should drink some alcohol, you're clearly slowing down.
