I've got an architect in my fortress. She's 98. She's an expert axedwarf. She's been accused of murdering three dwarves. She's been imprisoned for the past 300 days, which probably means, due to the busy (cluttered with rubbish) nature of my fortress, that she hasn't had a drink in weeks. She's due for another term in prison.
My inexpert eye has her down as a vampire, especially seeing as we've lost two (maybe three) dwarves to a vampire.

So, oh great and knowledgeable members of the Twelfth Bay, a dwarven civilisation, what should I do?

Kill her?
Imprison her?
Maim her?
Use her as an ironclad, one woman army?
Appoint her as mayor, militia commander, or even captain of the guard?

Frontline scouting ward.

Wall her from your fortress as an advance guard against any sieges, arm with the best equipment but no way back to your people//use as cavern exploration duty.

Basically, it's your choice what to do with her but just hurting her for your own entertainment is not wise to do. Unless you like that...

Clad her in your finest armor and weapon, set her out into the caverns and let her make a legend of herself

Give her your best equipment. Construct an arena, and make her fight whatever creatures you happen to capture in cages.
