Help with crashes

My current fortress causes my game to crash a lot, and I don't have any idea why. I think it has something to do with the save, and not my version of DF though.

Are there any specific reasons why 0.34.11 saves will crash?

Do you get any error message when it crashes?  Nemesis Unit Error killed one of my forts before.

See if there is anything in errorlog.txt , right in the main directory.
