In-character, the bodies will be collected after combat and the contents will be distributed afterward. This is standard Phoenix Engineering procedure. If you want to violate it and loot the bodies for their guns, then go ahead, but you'll have to do it while Max is away unless he agrees too. Also, are you sure they're not booby-trapped or something? Do you really want to test it while you are already wounded?

They were ripped inside out. Any booby traps on them would of been destroyed by that wouldn't they?
But I'm already off the hospital now :).

"Mother%&$@#"

shouted Gideon.

"Necromancer or not... you must be curious who shot you some bleeding holes in your chest. right? I'll try to do it again but this time i will prevent him from doing that again....."

Break the arms of this thing and try the same thing again without returning it's arms to the previous state.

CrimsonEon and HEN have been auto'd for this turn.

Roll 8

Serris pushed Aldarist along the hallways, leaving Max and Gideon on Deck 3 to conduct their investigation.
At the ship's medbay, Serris laid out Aldarist on a bed. Aldarist, by this point, had already fallen asleep from the sedative Serris gave him. Curiously, however, he was still whipsering to himself, describing in graphic detail actions he would do to some people... He had left his radio on, so Serris assumed the others were hearing it right now.
He took the radio and said into it, "Please excuse my patient, he's a bit traumatized."
The radio still gave no response. Serris began to worry a bit. He tapped out a quick message on the console, addressing it at every panel on the ship.
Quote from: Important
The security detatchment, other than Aldarist Gueria, appears to be unresponsive. Requesting that they report in now via any means possible.

He then got around to treating Aldarist.

--

Gideon had asked Maximilian to keep watch over the area while Gideon attempted his interrogation. He sat near a corner and listened intently for sounds, [19/24] verifying that everything was safe.
Gideon punched the dead soldier's arms as hard as he could in the joints. The armor suit was designed without plating there, so his attack made it to the arm and created a distinctive crunching sound that Gideon immediately recognized.
Next, he attempted to reverse causation again, [16/24] bringing the soldier back to life a second time.
The soldier attempted to sit up, but, feeling sudden pain as he lifted his arms, stopped and turned his head to look at Gideon.
"Is it just my arms, sir, or was I shot?"
The vanguard appeared to have lost even more memories than before.

--

Serris first noticed a strange pink condensation on the surface of Aldarist's suit. The material created small globules which clung to Serris' polymer gloves. Serris sweeped the pink matter off of the surface and placed it into a vial for future research--it seemed interesting. He then washed his hands.

Next, he began to release the locks of the pressure suit. However, he began to feel a burning sensation on his hands. He looked at his gloves and saw more of the pink matter on them. The larger globules had burned through the layers of his gloves and were beginning to irritate his skin.

--

Jacob aggressively continued firing, this time putting the Sundawn's kinetic vulcan cannons to use. [5] The enemy ship's shield eventually stopped flashing... Jacob began to get hopeful. He kept zooming in, and began to see his shots impact the ship's hull, poking holes in the armor. Jacob quickly focused on the engine, and a few seconds later when his fire hit, the engine exploded into a cloud of plasma.

"This is Jacob, the enemy ship's engines are damaged. Proposing pursuit."

Ask if I should continue firing. If yes, do so.

"Yes soldier, your arms are crushed after being struck with a De-pressurization blast. Hold still while we get you to the med bay."

Gideon couldn't really lift the person by arms, he'll call the medic to get here.

"Max, go get a medical carriage, oh and eh.. move Aldaris somewhere in the back. We don't want him to be shot."

Gideon looked at the soldier, moving him into a slightly more comfortable position. standing besides him and asking.

"Where do you come from soldier? Because with those wounds, you won't fight anytime soon."

"Aldarist can move himself thank you very much and I'm fine thanks for asking. We have more immediate problems though whatever that pink stuff is it's melting the docs gloves and probably melting my suit as well, so watch where you touch him if it gets on you and you take to long it'll rupture your suit."

Aldarist is in the hospital with Serris.
((And under sedatives. Also apologies for inactivity, busyness and turkey day and more moving problems))

"Shit!" Serris shouted in alarm. Despite the eerie radio silence he immediately broadcast; "We have a potential unidentified and uncontrolled hazardous substance within vicinity of the breach, advise hazmat teams to be prepped immediately! Max, Hyperspace-drifting Psionic Guy, you will want to get inside ASAP, this stuff could puncture your suits!"

He continued attempting to broadcast as he tried to Neutralize, or at least get the stuff off of him and Aldarist.

Ahh, I'm late!

Roll 9

Through the headset, the captain said, "No, I want to follow this ship. Nice shooting, by the way. I am ordering you to go to Deck 3 and assist the security detatchment, however...
You can take the Mechanized Armored Security Suit just in case there are more hostiles."

--

Serris' broadcast triggered Aldarist's hardened senses, causing the mild stimulants to wear off quickly.
"What, is there something wrong?
Serris rinsed his hands multiple times. He took out the vial of the contaminant and, relieved to see that it was still intact, placed it on the desk.
He then turned to Aldarist and said, "The pink stuff is corrosive, I'll take the suit off in the operating room."

Serris took Aldarist into the ship's operating room and turned on the overhead lights. Donning a hazmat suit, he quickly dissassembled Aldarist's suit, cleaned him up, and placed the contaminated articles into a sealed bin at the right side of the room.
[4] He verified that the pink goop was cleared from the operating room. He took off the hazmat suit and disposed of it in the side bin, then treated Aldarist's wounds.

--

[6] The vanguard responded casually. His memory seemed to be damaged to the point that he had no idea what
"Well, I grew up on thwe Olympus Mons complex, you know that place?"
[6-1] "Yes, it's a harsh place down there." (-1 is due to talking with a complete foreigner)
The vanguard's tone shifted to a friendlier one.
"Yeah, lived on the rails for a bit. After some time I got into the Republic military, and now I'm in the ISF."
[3-1] "Alright then. I'll have you sent to the hospital over there for further treatment. Can you tell me about the stuff you're breathing in right now?"
The soldier's tone shifted.
"You don't know?"
He paused for a bit.
"I sense you are not one of us. Be gone, impostor!"
Gideon heard a small clicking sound. The Vanguard's helmet remained frozen in place as he made gurgling noises. Gideon forced the helmet off and discovered that the soldier had taken a cyanide pill.
"That's exactly what they used to do in my day..."

[16/24] "Hold on... I hear something," interrupted Max, "Footsteps... on the floor above us."
He pointed to the ceiling.
"I feel it too... there's five people... no, four. One of them is some kind of small robot, I'm guessing. It's much smaller than the others."
"Do we move to engage or hide ourselves and find the pod? I don't want to stay here--this pink stuff seems to be bunching up into globs. They're eating into my boots..."
