Oh right, Crimson Top Hat is MIA. Rolling! Waiting on Crimson.
((Hrglgarlgl, Thought I already posted))

Serris sighed, "Toughen up, you two. You haven't come all this way through space and time to be stopped by a little jar of the head." Placing his tablet back on his desk, he Starts work treating the patients.

Roll 5

Serris donned his apron and headed to where the patients were resting. He began a normal check-up routine on the first one. The patient was a farmer from Zaor, accustomed to ship life and blunt trauma over the years. He had been launched into the wall when something came through the ceiling, destroying a portion of the hydroponics equipment and sending scraps of metal into his skin. Since he wore a rebreather because of the carbon-dioxide rich environment in the room, he was able to make it back to safety, but apparently reported severe headaches. Serris went about treating him, noticing the television on the wall depicting an image of the enemy ship absorbing railgun projectiles.
He wondered to himself, "What kind of shielding could do that... psionic shielding? Perhaps this Gideon fellow has something in common with it."

--

Max, Gideon, and Aldarist headed to Deck 3. Max issued him a pressure suit from the nearby closet at the bulkhead. [2] This was, unfortunately, the last pressure suit in the area, so the other guards departed to pick up suits from other areas. [6] Still confident, the three passed through the airlock, and had the coordinates of the breach uploaded to their HUD's.
Gideon felt his range began to decrease as the ship reentered realspace. However, his clairvoyance still gave a minor hint about where things were. He sensed movement around the first corner.
"Hold up, there's something around the corner..."
"How do you know?" Aldarist responded.
"Do you wish to check?"
"Certainly."
[4] Aldarist opened up a compartment in his pressure suit's sleeve, taking out an apparatus that looked like a mirror on a stick.
"It's a mirror on a stick," he noted.

[6] Aldarist held the mirror around the corner, making out three people wearing armor that looked to be built for combat. They were armed--two of them had rifles, a third had some kind of machine pistol in one hand, and a sword sheathed on his waist.
"Hostiles."
The three heard footsteps, and before they could respond, the soldier with the machine pistol and sword dashed around the corner, opening with a hail of fire as he unsheathed his sword!

[1] Aldarist took a full volley to the chest and arms, taking 45 damage. He fell over backwards into a pool of blood. The pressure suit absorbed some of the damage, protecting his vital organs.
[3] Max deftly manuvered [Dodge] to minimize his profile, dodging the weapon fire and firing off a snap shot with his rifle. [17/24] The shot impacted for 30 damage, but only dealt 26.
[4] Gideon instinctively shut his eyes and activated his Timelock, completely negating 31 damage, generating +1 Psi in the process.

The other two soldiers could be heard coming.

--

The console in the med-bay lit up.
Quote from: Deck 3
Automated distress signal. Host has sustained injuries. Name: ALD. GUERIA

"Oh, what are they up to now..."

--

Jacob tried his hand at plotting the missile's path. He hadn't done this kind of thing before, but he did manufacture these weapons for a living.
He finished tracing the course, then launched the missile. Outside the ship, a tube was uncovered, and a Hydra antimatter missile flew out and started toward the comet Jacob had targeted.
[27/24] The missile hit the comet as planned, but Jacob underestimated the missile's fuel reserves. The missile exploded in a flash of light, breaking up the comet into countless shards which changed course to eventually hit the enemy ship. [3] The ship's mystery shield absorbed most of the shards, but some of them went through and punched holes in the side. The vessel began turning to disengage.

"That worked better then expected."
Check on the drones progress. Then fire the rail guns at the ship again.

(( O come on lol both my bloody arms in 1 turn? My luck is awful today. ))

Fall back to cover, draw both pistols, use Empower and Still shot together then shoot the man down before ducking back into cover, aim for the head.

Through the viewport on the wall, Serris observed the improvised payload hitting the enemy ship. He smirked, "How inventive. Looks like that shield has its limits, too." Upon receiving the distress signal on the console, however, his tone turned sour. "Damn shame I can't be there myself," he began, but finished the rest in his mind, It would have made for a good experiment. But alas, it's too risky to abandon my station nowadays...

Serris turned his attention back to the patients, "My services will be needed for others soon, let's hurry this up. If it comes to it I may as well just prescribe you all aspirin and be done with it." he stated quickly as he Continued treating the patients.

Quickly run towards the bend near the corridor and manipulate the space to create a shockwave towards them.

Roll 6

[2] Jacob fired again, but the same thing happened that happened last time--the bolts disappeared in a flash of light.

--

Aldarist [3] rolled toward a nearby door under Max's cover fire. The enemy vanguard shifted his attention to Max and Gideon, under the impression that Aldarist was knocked out of combat. He set his rifle down, hastily removed his pistols, and [3] shot at the doorknob to lose it. The door swung open, and Aldarist dragged himself through while firing his other pistol at the enemy's head.
[11/24] He aimed poorly, and most of the shots went over the vanguard's head, disentigrating on the wall behind. One grazed the helmet, dealing 12 (-70% from roll) (ignored armor due to helmet) damage.

Gideon began to walk toward the corner. Max covered him, firing a burst at the vanguard's chest, [20/24] vaporizing the armor there and dealing 45 damage (armor shredded due to roll). The vanguard turned his body to protect himself and drew his sword, charging at Max while [6] spraying his SMG in Max's general direction, missing every shot.

Gideon jumped out, his mind racing to build up power for his next move, [20/24] [21/24] and released a compression wave into the space in front of him. The wave travelled through the open hallway, not pushing anything aside, but instead contorting space itself, severely deforming everything it went through. The ships hull began to curve, and supports began to extend from the walls. The two enemy troopers were mostly torn inside-out, their bodies essentially reshuffled by being at the very focus of the burst.
Despite the effectiveness of the spell, there was relatively little carnage. No arms flied off and no shrapnel was released, although a portion of Deck 3 now resembles swiss cheese in form.

The vanguard, hearing a wretched sound, turned to see his squadmates completely destroyed by Gideon's magic. He stopped moving, and reached for a tube that was externally mounted and linked from his back to the front of his helmet. He made it click, and release, releasing some kind of pink gas into the hallway. The vanguard himself began to wobble to the sides, and then collapsed, his sword still active and rattling on the floor.

--

Serris finished the medical checks, and prescribed painkillers to the two patients. That was all that should be needed. Now, Serris packed his bags and checked to make sure his field dressing was ready.

Approach the bodies cautiously and keep my pistols drawn, loot the bodies for all weapons, ammo and valuables then use the ships intercom.

"You four have got 60 seconds to get your asses down here with your suits on or I'm going to drag you down here and throw you out the hole!!!! How can you provide security if you move this damned slowly!!!!"

Look to my 2 companions
well that was interesting, and rather painful, but hey I've had worse and they lost so I'll live with it.

shift the time of the body backwards, to a state where the pink gas wasn't released yet.

"let me patch you up boss!" Attempt to provide emergency first aid to Aldarist. At least try to stop the bleeding.

"Hopefully they can hold themselves together until I get there..." Serris mused aloud as he ensured the dressing in his bag was secure, "And that they've eliminated whatever threat there was. To get the ship's doctor incapacitated is just bad form."

Serris hoisted up his supplies and picked up his tablet again, turning to his patients. "Remember, take those twice a day or when necessary. Make sure you get enough rest to ensure proper recovery." He added one more time before leaving to Find his way to Aldarist's squad.

Tapping on his tablet while walking through the halls, he sent a message up to the bridge:
Quote from: Medical
Doc. Omali dispatched to assist Capt. Geuria. Reason: distress received, injury sustained, will provide medical treatment on threat neutralization. Copy?

Roll 7

Jacob continued firing, loading rails after rails to maintain pressure on the shield. The rounds travelled at a significant fraction of the speed of light, storing enough energy--Jacob thought--to overwhelm the shield and prevent it from counteracting the kinetic energy of the projectiles.
[3] The shield continued vaporizing the rounds. One of the rounds created a slightly smaller flash than usual, but otherwise the rail gun had no effect.

The enemy ship began entering hyperspace. Zooming in on the tactical display, Jacob began to see the stars behind the ship shining through.

--

Gideon held his hand up to stop Aldarist from wasting his ammo.
"I'm going to try to get some information out of this"
"What, you're a necromancer too?" Aldarist retorted, giggling a bit before he realized that blood was flowing from his mouth. He quieted down and watched. Maximilian sat down beside him and attempted to provide emergency treatment.
"Well boss," he carefully inspected Adlarist's suit. [13/24] The armor's foam sealant had triggered, likely saving Aldarist's life, but it was soaked with blood as the vaccum literally sucked it out of his body through the foam.
"The foam hasn't got a perfect seal, and some of the suit's surface is missing. I can't find the shrapnel, so I'll assume it's inside of you."
[4] He considered patching up the suit's surface to seal it off from the vaccuum by welding it with his rifle, but the rifle was burst-action--he'd end up blowing a hole in the armor instead. He instead searched the closet Aldarist was in for a First Aid Kit, removed a sealant canister, and sprayed it over the holes in Aldarist's armor, buying more time.

--

Gideon sat next to the body with his eyes closed. He had taken slight offence at being called a necromancer, but ignored the taunt and instead attempted to reverse causation in the region around the body. [3] He managed to do it for a short time before losing focus (-1 Psi).

The Vanguard's armor reassembled itself, and the body rose back up and wielded its weapons.

"Where am I?"
The Vanguard saw his squadmates, and looked at Gideon and Maximilian. He took a moment to recognize his squadmates' armor, then continued:
"I'm caught, aren't I..."

He once again pulled the tube from his helmet and suffocated, releasing more of the pink gas. Gideon brushed it off of his visor as it began to condense.

--

Serris rushed into a pressure suit and picked up a wheeled stretcher. He folded the suspension and carried it upright through the airlock as he converged on the team's location.

He found them in the hallway, thanked Max for resealing the holes in the pressure suit, and hoisted Aldarist onto the stretcher.
"We will have to find a way to fit him through the airlock, I don't think he can stand up," he mentioned, recalling that the airlock was extremely cramped and not long enough for a stretcher to be rolled in through.

--

After a few minutes, Aldarist spoke into the radio again, this time more quietly.
"Where is that backup I ordered?"

There was no response.

(( Hey what happened to my looting of the bodies? I had 2 other bodies I could of looted, while I was waiting. ))

Climb off the stretcher, walk through airlock, get back on the stretcher.

"It's only a damned flesh wound I can walk."

Use radio again, You 4 better jump out an airlock, because when I get my hands on you your going to wish you were dead.

Take a nap, explain in graphic detail the ways I am going to kill the guards while still asleep.
