Drag his ass into an area that has pressure, open his suit and test his radio, throw him back into unpressurized area without the helmet if it does, stop at the last second, killing him would mean a lot of paperwork.

"Well shit, didn't expect that... Time to kill this monstrosity."

Use a void punch against the monster. (void punch = Small fluctuation of time and space in front of the glove which eradicates/removes all matter out of existance.)

"Not often would I see something come back to life right on my operating table, perhaps it contained a psychic trigger within its body waiting to resuscitate itself, or perhaps its suit is designed to-" Serris stops short as he notices the progress the monstrosity is making into its suit, "Although none of that will matter if we die in the next few moments."

Serris dove back to his desk to Retrieve his plasma pistol and discharge it into the alien.

Test my radio. Loudly yell at the officers if it works.

Roll 13

Aldarist grabbed the soldier by the neck and began to drag him through the halls, making his way to the entrance. The others' heads followed as the two dissapeared around the corner.
Maximilian disabled his near-field communicator, and shouted into his radio, watching the three carefully for sudden movements. [15/24] As expected, they flinched.
"Well," he began. "What have you got to say for yourselves?"
"Well, they work now..."
"Our equimpent doesn't just stop working simultaneously for multiple people like that."
"We think it's because of this blasted robot following us around. We found it in a closet and it just powered on and started interfering. Maybe your near-field communicators are somehow fixing the problem?"

Max looked at the robot. It was peculiar, but they might be right--it could be one of the ship's maintainance robots. It had a variety of instruments attached to a swivelling torso. The ship's computer normally sends them out following a major breach.

--

Gideon rushed over to the table. Serris looked at him in disapproval, but then realized that Gideon was using a spell.
Gideon remembered the purpose of his gloves--to channel his energy into a more focused and powerful form. He remembered a prior move--"Void Punch," as he called it, and slammed his fist downward into the monster's chest.

The monster disappeared in a flash of light. The pressure suit erupted into a shower of fragments that scratched the walls of the room. Gideon observed that his punch had left a thirty centimeter deep hole in the bed. It was a shadow of what he remembered doing, but it was a start at remembering his past.

Serris holstered his pistol. He looked annoyed and surprised at the same time.
"Impressive. Though I wanted to tank samples. I'll signal the cleaning crews to clean up this mess."

--

Aldarist threw the soldier into the corner of the airlock. He waited until he could just hear the pumps finishing, then pulled off the guard's helmet and yelled into the underside.
"If you hear this, the radio works."
He heard his words echo back into his suit.

Then, however, Aldarist saw the soldier's face. Instad of having the frightened face Aldarist expected, the man was grinning. He also had droplets of blood splattered onto his face, and a wound starting from the chin and running down the neck.

Look around for what happened, put pressure on the wound and carry him to the med bay.

The monster applies it every turn that you're it its presence. It ends after the monster leaves.

You'll possibly get an item soon that boosts your Psi regen in combat, so that's why it's significant.

'You thought something was blocking communications and you didn't do anything! Why?'
*thinks*

'wait. You just said that the communicators messed up and you couldn't get the orders. SO HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT YOU'D MISSED ORDERS IF YOU COULDN'T RECIEVE THEM?'

"We didn't, that's why we were looking for you guys.

We know about the orders now that you are accusing us of ignoring them."

[2] Gideon failed to remember how to manually enter hyperspace, and transcending the boundaries of both kinds of space at once was a feat even he could never manage. Never mind that the ship could make a turn any moment and he'd be stranded again.
