Onwards we go!
Head upstairs, radioing the rest of the security dept. and the captain with the situation

I would ask why fire can burn two men to death without getting hot enough to burn a book, but then I read "INEXTINGUISHABLE RUNNING KAMIKAZE RADIOACTIVE FLAMING ZOMBIE" and realized that logic, reason, and physics are all occupied with crying in the corner right now.

Remain with the doctor, keep both pistols drawn and keep a clear line of sight on the doorway.

Take the MSS and go to Deck 3

It (5) Slits another throat, (Three 6's in a row!) decapitates three more (!), (4) slices open the last guard's arm, and (2) narrowly misses a random bystander. It then flies back into your hand. ((Ahh didn't know, and damn you. My character believes that, i don't.))

Taking your own life... the biggest sin of all. But for now. We should retreat, i can take them on but not without possibly damaging the ship and i don't want to fly in space aimlessly again.

Gideon takes the vanguard corpse (if it isn't covered in pink stuff) and gets to the med clinic.

"This guy might come in handy in identifying our attackers, also i got an idea to stall the guys above us."

Grab the corpse(If not covered with pink stuff), Change that area of space(hall) into a slow time zone (Like 5 seconds in one) and get to the med bay.

((Not sure if your character is correct about taking one's own life being the biggest sin... not everyone thinks it's a sin, and hardly anyone thinks it's the biggest sin. Unless, of course, your character has different views about everything.

EDIT: Well, your character carries a Bible around, I would expect him to know basic theology :)

I could see how he believes that though... one would have to be a fool to kill him/herself in a world where people can get psionic powers, although we don't know how Gideon specifically got his powers.

About your reverse gravity thing... there is no gravity in space. :P

Remember the first post. The ship has artificial gravity because it is accelerating at 1g.))

(( Would it be possible for him to super charge the artificial gravity in a set area then? So to make it say 5x higher in a specific area or something similar to slow or crush the other boarder? ))

(Artificial gravity is not gravity. Otherwise it wouldn't be artificial.

If this artificial gravity came from the rooms rotating around as part of a giant cylinder, then you could increase the effect on the whole crew section by powering up the motors...

But this artificial gravity just comes from the ship accelerating much like how you get pushed to the side when a car turns. The rotating artificial gravity setup is used on space stations which do not usually deviate from their orbits.)

(( Damn, well I suppose he could use his magic to compact all the air in the section around the boarders and crush them with it or slow them at least, but maybe he'll have a different idea while I'm hiding in the med bay :). ))

"What a curious situation this has become..." Serris muttered as he took stock of his medical bay, turning briefly to his patient "By any chance did you ascertain anything about our attackers, Aldarist?" Checking off various supply lists on his tablet, Serris worked quickly in order to Ensure the medbay is prepared, and if no one comes analyze the corrosive substance.

"Not much, we ran into them and after that I had no time to study them. But I learned all that I need to know.
They bleed, which means I can kill them.

Roll 10

"Very well then. Aldarist, you are free to go. Pick up another pressure suit from the utility storage nearby and get to the airlock again. I think Jacob is heading there with some fire support."
"You mean the security detatchment?"
"No, something else. This is your first time on a Phoenix Engineering vessel, correct?"

Aldarist shrugged and went off. Serris shut the door and turned to his desk. He picked up the vial of red globules and held it up against the light. They glimmered and twinkled... seeming like they were moving, somehow. He decided to head to the lab and investigate what this substance was.

--

Gideon hesitated to pick up the corpse, looking over it for any of the pink stuff. he heard the announcement. It was corrosive... yet the soldier seemed to be breathing it in.

He started dragging the body around on the floor with him.

...

Maximilian readied his headset.

"Hello, hello? This is Max. We've dispatched a group of hostiles but we've detected more of them on the floor above us. We are bringing a body back so that we can identify armor, weapons, and DNA. The hostiles might be roaming, requesting a feed to the cameras so that we know where and what they are."
The captain's voice responded through the headset: "Hold on, we're routing it through. The other security personnel are nowhere to be found, so I'm sending a crewman to the station to make the transmission."

Gideon started crafting an effect in order to slow down the people above them long enough to get away.
[15/24][23/24] Relativity Bubble

Gideon set his bubble on the floor above himself. He felt the vibrations from the walking lower in frequency... it seemed to be working. (retcon: no sound in this area, so Max determined the location via feeling vibrations with his feet)

The two rushed away and headed to the airlock. There they met up with Aldarist and...

"What's up."
"Jacob, is that you?"

Jacob was wearing a MASS armored suit, which obscured most of his body with equipment mounts and sensors.

--

"Just... fascinating," Serris murmered to himself, twisting the knob on his microscope to get a better focus on the sample. The substance was not a chemical, but rather a mass of bacteria-like organisms which grew to massive sizes, and quickly, too. They appeared to feed off of air movement as moving the sample around increased their activity. The sample wasn't reproducing in the lab, however, so he couldn't duplicate it and send it to a more sophisticated department.
The mass consumed organic materials as well as some synthetic materials such as latex. He was careful not to touch the sample again as it secreted some kind of adhesive that made it cling to glove materials.

He heard a knocking sound behind him. He opened the door to find Aldarist and Max, as well as Gideon, who had a headache, and someone in a large power suit. Behind Gideon was a dead body with a ruptured suit of armor and contorted arms.
"This is the one that had the pink substance correct?"
"He was breathing it, sir."

Max's headset started buzzing.
"Officer de Verath, we've identified the security detatchment. They're on Deck 3 and have some kind of wheeled robot with them... They're not responding to pings."

Check on my drone through it's cameras. Then help the group.

"I'll stay with the doc, because i want to know who these people are... and he needs protection. "

Gideon looked at the goo and tried to remember something similar from his memories..

Try to let some of the good levitate and put the sample in a timelock, also try to remember something from the past about races which were like this or used the same kind of mechanism to breathe.

Try to remember where I know Jacob from. Then attempt to contact the team myself.
