You don't have to make a new track to change from guide to push or ride, that can be changed in the departure conditions (where it normally says guide north blah blah blah).  You also don't HAVE to make a new path for pedestrians, but you probably should.  Minecarts can be brutal when they impact a dwarf and push/ride will cause impacts.

Stick to guided if you're having dwarves using same passengeway. Push and ride will smash anyone that's in the way, and dwarves aren't very smart about pathing even with proper application of traffic designation.

I still have the set dir / connect track error :( :( :(

So, If I'm using it in Guide, I'll never use the Rolles I done, right ?

The error might be your track not connecting together properly or you're missing a few sections.

And yes, guided carts bypasses rollers.

I've done three things to get the "!set dir/connect track"

Set the guide/ride/push direction wrong.  Have a break in the track from not designating ramps correctly.  Have my stop actually off the tracks.

I thought a trackstop would have tracks included.  I don't know why I thought that.  So I built the trackstop at the end of the rail, instead of on top of the end of the rail.

I'll admit I thought the same about trackstop having built-in track or being the end points, until I saw i could build the stop over the track. Fortunately I mostly uses minecarts for dump piles so it didn't affected me, ha.

I probably should remember that if someone asks about track issues.
