I wanted to vote Roseanne but she dropped out. She beat out Rocky Anderson anyway, so she should be on the poll =P

Did Buddy Roemer ever end up on any ballot anywhere?

Decided to cast my ballot for Obama. I wanted to support him in the popular vote and honestly I like him as a President. From what I can gauge of his intent he is interested in moving this country forward but approaches it from a pragmatic angle and as somebody who values reality over ideological posturing I greatly appreciate that. What he accomplished in his first two years were much needed steps in the proper direction even if it wasn't sweeping change like many wished for. Maybe I'm just not really burned by it because back in 2008 I was still a waning libertarian and didn't vote for him, but as far as tangible improvements and stepping up to lead this country goes I didn't see any other contenders.

Obama. If the Greens want to be a legitimate party they'll have to start building from the local and state level first (such as, hint hint, running candidates in Minneapolis and St. Paul state house districts where they would stand a chance to run left of the Democrats), until then I am not wasting my vote.

The fact that they run local candidates in Maine is probably a big part of why they do so well there, honestly. The Maine Green Party is basically the best in the country.

Notably I would've voted for Obama had I been in a swing state. My state was decided back in the 1960s, so my vote would be wasted no matter what. May as well throw it at the party I most agree with.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

I chose to vote for the independent Ithaqua.
Some would say I am just hurting my own interests by splitting the Cthulhu vote, but my greatest interest is a free and open demonocracy where we have the right to choose who would would truly like to be enslaved by, instead of this two party system.

Yeah. That Ithaqua clearly knew what he was doing in the elections. I found his speeches on how we should serve as food for devouring quite convincing.

In all seriousness though, I'm still too young to vote for any of the actually candidates, so yeah.

Gary Johnson.  Either he or Stein would have been better than Romney or Obama.  Maybe in 2016...

Voted for Mittens, not because I like him but because I dislike both candidates and just happen to dislike Obama slightly more than Mittens.
