First Actions

[6] The sun may have come up, but it's still cloudy and foggy, and rather dark. The Thralltin is nowhere in sight, but the dwarves still feel a slight panic. -1 to all outdoor rolls this round.

[5] Tholtig spends the first half of the night sleeping after giving Kivish a BIG hug. Then she tends to her ankle. She does rather well, and it doesn't hurt as badly now.
[4] After that, she decides it's time to work on some rings. She makes two.
Spoiler: Crafting (click to show/hide)

[3] Thanen spends the first half of the night sleeping on the ground. He's as attentive as a rock.
[4] When he wakes up, he starts work on a Swamp Scorpion Chitin Breastplate. He makes one.
Spoiler: Crafting (click to show/hide)

[5] Kivish calmly walks over to the farm, and checks to see if the plump helmets have grown. Six have.

[1-1] Hecar goes out, crossbow at the ready, to begin hunting. He is nervous, and jittery, praying to Armok that there are no yaks. But Yaks can smell fear. Yaks can smell fear, and they enjoy it. As Hecar looks around, he gets a horrible feeling that he is being stalked. Then, he looks back... The behemoth that stands behind him is clearly a yak, but it's eyes are glowing red, and it's hooves are on fire. Blood streaks flow through it's hide, and it rears up as Hecar stares. Nervously, Hecar aims his crossbow, and... He forgot to load it. The hell yak snorts in contempt, then lashes out with it's hooves.
Spoiler: Combat (click to show/hide)
Hecar has been slain.

[2] Ūben starts to dig an industrial area out. But he falls asleep as he does. Lazy miner.

[5] Rigoth makes a wood furnace. He does rather well.

[1-1] Bijolf doesn't sleep. He has an elven leg on his mind. That leg... That leg offends his honor. When the sun rises, he runs straight to it, ignoring the bloody corpse of his comrade, and he reaches down, pulling on that leg with all his might. It goes flying into the air, and he cries his success to the heavens, holding his arms out. And then...
Spoiler: Comba... Huh? (click to show/hide)
Bijolf has been slain.

Migrants begin arriving.

Enemies?
None...

Thanen puts on the breastplate. Next on is...a shield.

Make a swamp scorpion chitin shield.

((That include me?))
Find a shield.  If one cannot be found, get someone to make me one.
((Remember, he's a Dwarven caveman.  Well, that's not redundant or anything.  But he basically is going to say:))
"Me Urist.  You dwarf.  You make me shield."

Wear exceptional recursion ring of self. Offer saving ring to Kivish, if he doesn't want it just put it with the other crafts.

Make gabbro mugs.

Check my weapon and ammo and my masonry kit, then search around the camp area for a source of stone, do not go into the swamp, keep an eye out for any animals.

Calaro staggers through the trees, warhammer clutched close to his body. At the sight of dwarfs moving about in the distance, he releases a sigh of relief.

Thank the Gods, I've finally arrived.

Suddenly realizing that with nothing to kill in sight he was remarkably useless Calaro waves a brief greeting to the current inhabitants before wandering off in search of animals, gathering berries as he moves.

Second Actions

[5] The dwarves get back to work. But... The corpses around the wagon begin to shake and move...

[5] Thanen focuses on making a shield with what's left of the Chitin. He does rather well.
Spoiler: Crafting (click to show/hide)

[1] Rijolf, the twin brother of Bjolf arrives first. And he fails EPICLY. He roars and charges at his reanimated brother, who happens to be wielding an elf leg. Bjolf strikes first with that leg.
Spoiler: Combat (click to show/hide)
Rijolf wins. Bjolf's upper body has collapsed in a heap.

[4] Kivish harvests the plump helmets with little complaint. Apparently, he is saving his miracles for the booze.

[4] Ūben has a nice, long enjoyable nap. Then he gets back to work. He does moderately well, and the Industrial area is a quarter finished.

[2] Urist arrives. He walks up to Thanen, and demands his shiny shield. Thanen is not impressed. No shield.

[2] Tholtig can't focus on the stone to make mugs. I mean, seriously. What kind of dwarf uses mugs?
[6] She does put her ring on, and then, in quite dramatic fashion, she walks over to Kivish, and drops down to one knee, offering the ring to him. He accepts. What luck! Dwarven marriage ceremonies are NOTHING like human, and Tholtig did NOT just propose.

[6] Nadin arrives, and he makes sure his weapon is loaded. Then he spots a zombie yak. What luck! He runs straight up to it, and slams it HARD with his crossbow. Wait. Why is he hitting the thing with his crossbow?
Spoiler: Combat (click to show/hide)
Nadin wins. Yak Corpse has collapsed in a heap.

[4] Calaro arrives, and he waves to the dwarves in relief. Then he spots Hecar's Corpse, and Hecar's Head. Attack?

Enemies
Hecar's mutilated corpse
Hecar's Head
Urgof's corpse
