Due to a lack of reply I would have to ask you, Arx, to take the turn and lead us. I think I've given people enough time to reply as it is. If you really can't do it now, you could opt in to give gamedragon a go.

I chose to believe that the admin had no facilities because she was recently appointed, not out of, say, lack of respect or lack of realisation that we had an admin. And speaking of administration, why does our capitalist seem to know nothing about capitalism...?

Nine thread zombies came a callin'. I have no idea what the appropriate response to this situation is or where the lever to seal the gate is.

Granite the Third:

Intensive research revealed that the most likely candidate to seal the fortress was near the main stairwell. I ordered the lever pulled, but unfortunately pisskop's lolcat was standing on the bridge at the time. She may live, but, uh, that's gonna leave a mark. And unsealing the gate is gonna leave no mark. Uh, sorry pisskop.

Granite the Fourth:

Since the necroed threads are safely (I hope) locked out and I don't see lava pouring out anywhere, I've given the order for business to continue as usual. So the admin's getting quarters, and I've had a bunch of blocks ordered so we can put the marksforumites to some use with towers.

c) My next update should be longer. I spent most of the time on this one working out where everything was and trying to decide on the best course of action for the thread zombies.

Man, you got some real bad luck, getting thread zombies the moment you start. If you or subsequent overseers need help with dealing with the zombies and necrothreaders and other mod-related stuff, you should check out the previous necrothreats. For now, being locked off is good.

Only if you mean the skill level 'Competent'. They're not in a state where I'd be willing to pit them against zombies, given the general nature of zombies in DF2014. I'm just going to go with staying locked down and hoping for some kind of improvement, deus ex machina, or making it Gamedragon's problem next turn.
