I am glad people didn't end up taking me too seriously :P I certainly didn't want to kill the topic like I almost did.

Uhhh... you are aware that "Generis" actually means generic right?

Honestly, I want this game just to see how hilarious some of the combat would get.
I wonder what some of the super heavy two-handed weapons would look like.

I'm so excited about this game that I had to sign up to share this. It reminds me of Die by the Sword (does anybody remember that ?) game so much, at least the combat system. I always wished for a good succesor for DBTS. This may not sound normal, but please, if it's possible do so limbs can fly (damn I don't know how to explain this properly in english, I mean the possibility of chopping off limbs)

Few questions:
1. When the game will be finished/relased ?
2. What If kickstarter doesn't reach 150k ? Is it going to be finished and relased anyway ?
I had more questions but I forgot what duh.

E: Damn I thought the creator is also posting on this thread. Anyway, Hello DF players, I hope you will like the idea about limbs and the possibilities it make! Imagine of bashing your enemy wielding your lost foot (you probably know this from adventurer mode but this in 3d = omgzorz)

Honestly I just really wanted to support the technology.  I want to see more games do this, and they talked about selling the engine and mod support.  Would be sweet!

I'm definitely mega-chuffed right now. Can't wait to do some sweet open world drunken sword fighting. In about a year's time I'll suddenly be inundated with all the games I'd forgotten I'd funded...

I thought you did.

Anyways, the game won. Let's hope Madoc Evans doesn't fail to deliver his vision to us.

I'd gladly send $40 their way if not for a single problem: Kickstarter doesn't use PayPal, only credit cards. I can donate to Bare Mettle directly with PayPal, but it wouldn't count for Kickstarter and so i'd get nothing. I'm a cheap bastard and need something in return for my cash, damnit :P.

Centration. Similar to Spacestation 13, but in 3D and first-person. Sounds damn awesome.

Wow.  This game looks like it will be big.  The tech demo looks rough on gameplay, but immense on potential.

I generally really don't expect too much from the game it self. The tech is interesting, and that is what I would really like that more studios use it and expand on it

I'm personally hoping modding is possible and easily accessible.
But not to the point where there are 800 mods made by kids called:
"Super wapons!"
