Maybe it could be the Republicans' cue to stop bashing Hispanics and try to claim a demographic that should really be theirs?  Well, a guy can dream.

You sure didn't post it as a joke.

If it could have been interpreted as racist, then it probably wasnt funny. Not that I can read the post to judge its offensiveness, as it has been removed.

It is also the 3rd arguably racist thing that you have said in this thread.

In the interest of avoiding a hatefest, I present the following entirely rational and agreeable statement by Tripjack:

Stopping piracy is not possible, and whether drm reduces piracy significantly is debatable topic with no clear answer

the time and resources that it takes to implement some worthless drm scheme are time and resources that could be better served by improving the actual game in some way

In this, I agree with TripJack. Just not all things.

TripJack, as I've mentioned before, your primary problem is that you are extremely hard to understand. EVERYTHING you say sounds like it could be a joke, but with even odds it isn't. If there's a purpose to most of your posts, it's often hard to tease them out.

I have no idea if you're racist. I don't really care. Your primary problem seems to be that you are, all too often, fairly ineffective communicator. :/

You should probably avoid "jokes" if you can't effectively communicate the humour - all that's left in that situation is words that make you sound like a dick.

I think we should all pitch in and buy him a period and shift key for his keyboard, so that he might be better understood

would be good because that's a pretty concise and reasonable view on DRM

Why ignore it. It is true. Hispanics are very often catholic religious conservatives who are against homosexuality, abortion and birth control. They are the conservative demographic.

Not really

I'm not sure about the same-sex marriage issue either.

More than two-thirds of Hispanics voted for Obama, who is thought to have cemented Latino support with his executive action this year on deportation exemptions for many undocumented youths. But among Hispanic voters, immigration ranked behind the economy, unemployment, healthcare and "issues like abortion and same-sex marriage" as a motivating issue.

Maybe I took it the wrong way. I go to a very nice Catholic school myself, though I am not Catholic. Here's the funny thing, though. This school is in the inner city, so most of the kids are on welfare or know someone who is. Some of them know someone who is gay, or someone who smokes weed, and a large part of them are Latino or black.
