PTW.

I can't play in any official fashion, but I'll happily take the position of the Bard chronicling the games exploits, if I can. Tell me if you're cool with that, Guin. :P
((And I'll be in too, because timezones officially hates me.))

Questions: a) Can I ditch my secondary weapon in favor of a surgery kit? b) Will ammo be a problem if I pick a more obscure rifle, like the AS-Val, over one with more widespread ammo, such as the AK-74 chambered for 5.45×39 mm?
a) Absolutely!
b) Not at all. I like to wing it when it comes to ammo. I hate keeping track of the stuff. Not to mention the universe is a "scavenger society" and therefore most people make their own ammunition and guns. How do they find the time to do that? Well.. lets just say thats one question too many. ;D

You're hired, because your RP is legendary and I love reading it. If I feel the need to set up an OOC there will be a post dedicated to the Green Bard's Archives. BTW, you nailed the Bandit Lord perfectly. Exactly how I pictured him through the eyes of the populous.

Eight is plenty. No more reserves.

The game will start once all the character sheets are in, including the Bandit Lord's.

(( Will we have to find parts for our guns or will we find vendors as we go? I have a few bits and pieces I wanna get my hands on for my rifle, beginning with an under barrel grenade launcher for that time when shooting the bad guy in the face just does not get across the appropriate level of your fucked. ))

You'll probably just steal them from people you kill.

Wait..you wanted in? I'll allow one more. :) And just for funzies, and because I can do whatever the hell I want, I'll give you a choice. You can be either another Wanderer, or the Bandit Lord's dreaded Second. If you wish the latter, I'll PM you a special character sheet.

Hah works for me I may have to kill politely ask many people for parts then I have kinda a long list of parts to find for my gun to get it fully set up.
Beginning with grenade launcher, folding bipod, suppressor and hybrid sights, the rest can wait since it's a bit more fiddly like extended barrels and specials stocks and that kinda thing, I have big big plans for my gun.

Will wanders be a team or a bunch of random isolated people unless we should happen across each other and decide to work together?

Either be someone who is bound to fate and destiny to quest along great people, being serenaded by great bards and wandering ministrels while realizing the harshness of reality in this gritty-type game...

Or the subservient ally of the Big Bad, with my own motives and means, perhaps to regress feelings I have that many people won't consider strange in-context(:P) and probably go in the guise of freedom and play with the strings of morality and law.

I'll take the latter. Send in the PM.

Name: Makos Duran

Title: Pouncing Cheetah

Gender: Male

Ethnicity: Hinkisian

Background: Makos never wanted to hunt incredibly dangerous men across the dry sands. Rather, his heart had been set on the lowly dream of creating his own finacial empire and living in safety and comfort with the love of his life and their dozen or so children. Unfortunately, his sweetheart's father has a rather low opinion of Makos's competency, and as such has refused to grant his daughter's hand in marriage until Makos has proven beyond a doubt his capability, charging him with the task of bringing back the Bandit Lord's head as his test.

Appearance: At 22 years of age, Makos stands 5"11 with brown hair and vibrant blue eyes with a small scar just under his right eye, a testament to a childhood past time of playing with his father's handgun. He wears combat boots, desert camo pants and a brown t-shirt.

Primary: Mk V "Ranger" : A High Caliber, Semi-automatic assualt rifle that preforms best at mediem range. 20 rounds/clip

Secondary: "Firecracker" automatic pistol: An reliable weapon that has seen regular use in militas for the past 20 years. Semi Auto/Full Auto fire selector; 10 rounds/clip
