Since it's somewhat unclear (for me anyway), are we the demons possessing the guy, or the guy being possessed by the demons?

Because the following:

Makes me think we are the demons.

We're the vessel. Says so in the title.

That is why I asked. Title says we're vessel. The quoted part say we are the demons possessing the vessel.

(Basically, it's written from the perspective of the vessel. The demons are actually your voices, just translated.)

With a malovelent chuckle, the voices whisper in your ear "Dance!". Despite the stupidity of this, you dance anyway. It becomes particularly evident that you are actually a really good dancer. You finally stop, the whisperers mildly impressed. You begin to laugh as you imagine most demon-possessed people do. "Now, my old name is meaningless, my gender more so. I have one goal: To rule. I am...The Overlo--"

One of the whisperers goes "So, guys, what're we doing with this guy?". You have a feeling they aren't taking this very professionally. You sigh and await their instructions. One of them suggests you look through the apartment to figure out what happened to you. Well, they are looking out for you at least, which is a start. You search the apartment high and low for evil looking leather-bound books. You cannot find anything, however which is extremely annoying. Another begins to question whether or not you're actually in control here or if they are. You sigh and cough loudly. "Guys, am I meant to be ending the world or something?" You ask. "You guys don't seem to be very much in control here."
