A giant primordial stone dwarf with a habit of going berserk like if not worse then regular dwarves. His great stone body is covered in/oozes his stone blood, magma, in great volumes and his beard is made of strands of spoilermetal and his bones of pure spoilermetal/mixture of other metals.

He is a craftsman and his work of art is the world, he plays his part every time you start generating a world. When you breach the circus the clowns flood out of the eerie pits to flee from armok who resides even deeper within the earth.

His blood is a gift to his children, it culls the weak dwarves who cannot handle the magmatic awesomess and is a great boon to those worthy to use his it, the true dwarves.

I think what's implied is that the game client in itself is Armok.

Think about it; the game itself is what creates the worlds and
does all that cruel shit to the dwarves. You can only interact
in this world in limited means --without modding, of course.
You can make the world a better place for the inhabitants,
but only temporary. At some point Armok will throw a bone
into your cogs, and watch it all go to hell.

It's sort of in the title. I guess....

I see him every time I look in the mirror.

I am not a believer in the literal manifestation of Armok within the game. A faceless, unsymbolled concept for players.

These. The player is Armok, and the Dwarves are there to serve his every whim.

Indeed, this is true.

Like Vulcan from greek mythology. With the anvil and tools to forge the world. Actually I think even Toady had something like this in mind.

And Armok apparently has an infinite amount of instances of himself, which are represented by everyone playing DF...

Maybe Toady secretly based the game world generation on the players mouse movements and clicks...
If you move your mouse an inch you could have elves take over and after a meaningless click you cause
a adamantine spire to stab into the heart of Tholtig Cryptbrain and spawn a volcano directly on a kobold settlement

And that is the story of how napalm was invented.

I have lots of idea actually.

One is that I think he is like the shade-wraith-thingy like what Robocorn drew, with blood gushing from his glowing red eyes.

Another is that he is a dwarf bedecked with armors and weapons (plurals, he have several arms, since he's the frigging Arm-ok) made out of condensed crystallized blood (go away science)

Or another is that I see him as the collective soul of all Bay12'ers.

Like this.

Also, more specifically, I wrote a short story about a dwarf that got a chance to see one infinitesimal fraction of the power of Armok.

It was an infinite sea of all the blood ever spilled for any reason, under a sky so full of stars, distant and near, that it resembled a diamond dome fully as bright as day, and within the sea of blood was a titanic serpent many miles tall, with a circular lamprey-like maw large enough to engulf an entire army with room for an aircraft carrier to dock on either side. Of course, all sides were covered in curving, jagged thorns and protrusions.

All very lovecraftian. Importantly, Armok is tied to anything involving conflict, passion, or life, as well as death. It prefers heroes mainly because they generally fight for freedom and equality, which is a dynamic system which ultimately results in more drama, conflict, and action; after all, if the zombies win in a zombie apocolypse, then all they're going to do is wander around and chew on things until they fall apart. If there's some humans (or dwarves) left, sooner or later they're going to start killing each other again.

I have been thinking for a bit and what popped up in my mind was..
..That Armok, the Good of Blood, could technically be Sheogorath, Daedric prince of madness.
That would make sense, wouldn't it?

Armok is an antopomorhpic personofication of a world generator (or maybe game engine overall). He has power to create and destroy worlds (so, he lives outside of them) and he takes orders from the player (who lives outside of Armok's metaworld).

First of all, I don't see Armok as the creator of the worlds, but as a deity watching over all the dwarves, other humanoids and animals. As God of Blood he represents both life and death.
If I were to envision an avatar, it would be some sort of red humanoid who would calmly watch you with a big smile. The thing is, you never know for sure whether he is sincerely liking you or just thinking of some horribly violent way you could get killed...

The builder of worlds would be a giant, possibly anthropomorphic and/or bearded, toad who - most of the time . is too busy making those worlds work to enjoy the carnage beauty of life on them.

Nope. Just because a God causes insanity frequently upon those who view it does not mean it is a patron God of insanity.
