Hmm Navy then why not~
Repetitive clicking of the Random button has told me that I will not get the Navy skill, among some others. Not till I unlock things most likely.
I should change those profiles into spoiler pictures.
I'm sure that Wise does not allow Navy to be chosen. I'm looking into the other choices.
What little I know:
Leader focuses on troop command skills, so it might allow Navy.
Jack-of-all-trades allows a wide variety of skills, so it might allow Navy.
Average has unique workings (I'm not sure as I don't have the game working right now), so it might allow Navy.
Suffice to say, Navy requires a change of character class. And to be honest, it's rather unnecessary, as advanced ships do either the same or more than Navy, and can often be made in those territories in which the Navy skill would be useful anyways. Out of all the "unique" skills, it's effect is the least unique. Besides, one Navy officer is just going to get himself or herself killed: They'll land on the shore without backup and get gangbanged by the enemy into extinction.
I did the repetitive clickings under all the personality type things I believe, maybe. I was on auto-pilot when I did it, could try again. Also, yea, I made it a point to not explain any of the skills... cause I already know which ones are the most usefully exploitable and what-not.
I am probably going to let ya'll choose between the first 3 scenarios, I'll put a screenshot and explanation of each up later.
Historical Events On/Off
3 difficulties; Normal, Advanced and 'Super'
Advanced, other kingdoms are more aggressive to the one the player(me) is in. Also, income nerf. Can't see loyalty among other things of officers.
'Super', I've got no clue, but I'm betting the aggressiveness is going to be upped a bit more, with more income nerf. I havn't found anything that explains it. Since... the English PC version of the game has never been released... it is all Japanese with whatever the translation patch covers.
Apparently there is a PS2 emulator out there...
