Free to a good home
« on: November 03, 2012, 06:37:04 pm »

Since some of us upgrade equipment somewhat often and others are using pieced together, outdated equipment I thought Bay12 could help one another.

A couple of rules:
1) Equipment is offered FREE
2) It's polite to offer to pay postage if the item is heavy.
3) Don't request an item unless you can use it now(is compatible with your setup)

Well, this seems like a cool idea. I might just have a spare 1-gig RAM card that we literally just replaced with a 2-gig, but I'll have to see if my mom's willing to part with it in the name of somebody else getting a better computer (she's not a hoarder, but she has hoarding tendencies).

GONE to Viken

I have 2 sticks of 4GB DDR3-1600 RAM

It's from SUPER TALENT and it's id is W1600UB4GH   It tests out perfect and is 6 months old despite being bargain equipment. No money is necessary and I am happy to ship it to wherever in a padded envelope. http://www.memoryten.com/pc/029177/DDR3-240p-PC3-12800-4GB/

Xeron, you only need one? Please make sure your board can use DDR3, but I have no problem sending 1 or both to you.

I am looking at upgrading my graphics card in a couple of days and will be listing my current one on here if I do.

Mine's DDR2. I don't think DDR1 is even manufactured anymore.
