About the captain thing, yeah, I was tired when I did the last turn.
I actually thought of it last night while I was trying to sleep.
Anyway, atleast I had it in a strikethrough.
So, next turn:
You wake up early in the morning.
You walk into the hallway, and bump into Mary.
"Mornin' Captain."
"Good morning, Mary. How was your sleep?"
"Not really well. I can't get used to being outside of the city. I just don't feel safe."
"Don't worry about your safety. Our grunts can hold their own, and so can the guns on deck."
"Alright, well, I'll keep that in mind, have a good day."
"You too."
You are incredibly charming. You sexy beast.
Just kidding.
You head up to the deck, and catch Brassnut just as he was leaving.
"Hold on, Brassnut, I have a quick errand for you to run in town, while your there."
"Sure, what is it boss?"
"Can you just pick up some more food for us? A few loaves of bread will do. Pick up some meat if you can find any for cheap."
"Alright boss, i'll do that for you."
"Thank you."
You meet up with Steelball and head off to loot the bandits, and find your gun.
You reach one of the corpses.
"Well. I guess the guns work." You say, admiring the fact that half of the bandit is missing.
"That they do, boss."
"Look at that rifle he has. That's a custom job."
The rifle had a Walnut stock.
It had a short-range scope on it.
It was of a large caliber, probably 80 Bolt. (That's a large round, for this world.)
It was fed from a cylinder, like a revolver. It holds 3 rounds.
"This is interesting, to say the least. I didn't know bandits could do this kind of stuff."
"It is certainly a pretty gun, boss. A little dirty, but high-quality."
These bandits must have raided a high-class shipment recently.
"See if you can find any rounds for it on the guys body." You say, admiring the gun.
You check the cylinder, there is 1 unspent round.
"I found these, sir."
He hands you 7 80 Bolt rounds.
"Alright, let's see if we can find anything else, or my rifle."
After searching, you fail to find the rifle, or anything else.
"Alright, lets go back to the ship, the engineer must have finished the engines by now."
"Okay, boss, lets go."
You arrive back at the ship, and Lockstock lowers the ramp for you.
"Nice rifle there, boss!" Lockstock shouts.
"Yes, she is beautiful, indeed. Has the engineer finished the engines yet?"
"Not quite, but he wanted to tell you something, you should go find him."
"Alright, thanks for letting me know."
You head below deck and find the engineer in the engine room, clanking away on something.
"You wanted to see me?"
The engineer jumps, you scared him. Nice job.
"Uh, yes sir. The engines will be good to go, but..."
"But what?"
"Well, the balloon is bad, we can't get anything out of it."
"Well, that isn't too horribly bad, now is it?"
"I don't know, if they aren't too expensive, it isn't a bad thing, but who knows."
"Alright, thanks for letting me know, you can go back to work."
"Yessir."
You walk out of the engine room, and find yourself with nothing to do.
